Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of science in Information Technology is 3 years course Which is divided into 6 semester each and every semester is of 6 months. There are 6 subjects in every semester 4 are Paper based subjects and 2 are practical Subjects. Marks allotted to student in based of Internal and external examination marks Internal marks of 30 number which are based on Internal examination conducted by a college and External examination is conducted by a university which is of 70 marks
Internships Opportunities
At the end of course college provided a internship which is project based in which we have to build a project They give time period of around 2.5 months to complete that project and after completion of project and viva they provide a certificate.
Placement Experience
Placement are average not good or not bad.During our batch there are less companies visit our campus due to recession . Every student is eligible for placement according to college criteria .But sometimes it's depends on company how much percentage criteria they are setting for hiring students . Average packs was of around 5 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Course fees is around 154000 in which student have to pay around 26000 every semester and other charges is 1600 which is examination fees which student have to pay when they fill examination form at the end of every semester and Apart from this Transportation charges are not included in course fees . In Himalayan institute of Technology course is affordable compare to other colleges. I received no scholarships.
Campus Life
Cultural and sports activities conducted by college Every semester and every year. There is college fest in which student can enjoy during their studies Sports activities like cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc, are conducted by college. Cultural events like dance competition singing competition Annual day rangoli competition.
Admission
If student want to take admission in Bachelor of Science Information technology minimum required percentage is 50% of any background. There is no application fees Only student have to pay registration charges which is around 15000
Faculty
All the Teacher have expertise in their subjects. They explain each and every aspect of module very well .They are supportive also And give attention to each and every student particulary. Computer labs are also well equipped. During Practical's Teachers explain each and every aspect of program logically which easily help student to understand.
