Graphic Era College Review

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me towards the course is that the course timing and the course difficulty as when I compare this course with the BTECH then I saw that there is also the same subjects but in Btech it takes 4 years and in BCA it takes 3 years so I have selected this course. The faculty member teaches the course in the good manner but some of the faculty member needs to be improved in terms of the knowledge about the particular subject as they do not have the proper knowledge about the course. The timings for the exams as in two terms as for mid term it is in two shifts morning and evening and it for 1.5 hours only and for the end term it is in two shifts morning and evening and it for 3 hours. Also, the difficulty level of the paper is very high in end term only but in mid term it is not too difficult for the students.

In the college internships opportunities are depend on your calibration as if you thing you are good at the particular thing then you can make a project on that thing and then you can reach to your HOD and after they approve it then it will be showcased on the college level and then your selection will be held by the companies that visit in the college. There are some companies that are BNY MELLON, Tommy Hilfiger and many more and they are some internship for the management groups but companies also come for the IT department as well.

Eligibility depends on the course as if it is for 3 year course then the placements will be available from the 5th semester and if it is for the 4 year course then placements will be available from the 7th semester. There are many companies that visit the college as an example Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Google, LTI etc. and they each student cab get only 2 offers only. In this college students get placed up to 80% only but they guarantee the placement.

Tuition fee increase every year and there is not much increase in the fees it is just around 10-15 thousand only. The complete cost for the course with includes your course fees and some basic needs will go up to 7 lacs and it includes the fees for the rent as well. There are soo many scholarship for the students as the students from Uttarakhand will get the 15% off every year on the fees and the second one if you submit the one year fees in advance then you will get 10% off on that fees.

There are many festivals that are held in campus as one of the largest event is Grafest and it was held every year and there are some technical events also held and they are held by every 2 months as in the department-wise. The books are available in the library by the time college open as about till 6 PM and you can issue the book by your I'd card and you have to written the book within 1 month or you can re issue it after 1 month. In the classroom teacher provides to give lecture and shows that on the smart screen as well if there is any need of any further explanation. As there is also an sports community in the college and you can issue the sports material from there and you will get the equipment and you can use and return that within college hours. Yes there are some clubs that are run by the students in the college for the welfare of the students.

The eligibility of the course is depend on the percentage you got in 12th standard as if you got the better percentage then you will get the course frequently else you will not get it. If you revers the seats in advance then you will get the VIP treatment in the college as when you will visit the college first time for the visit. The improvement they need is the admission cell staff as there are some staff who are very rude and they can be replaced with the new one.

In this college we can easily approach to our teachers as there are the soo many staff rooms and we can easily go there and meet the faculty there and solve our problems as well and also we can approach directly to our HOD there and we can also talk to them for our problems. Teaching behavior are not up to the mark but I can say that some of the faculty member are good as well who provide great mentorship.
