Bennett University: A student's prespective

The thing that interested me for computer science itself. I loved coding from the starting. But i think the coding part of our college lacks. The curriculum have both theory and practicals. Timing of exams were fine difficulty level was also medium.

Companies include IBM, Microsoft, Trimble, cyberhark , zoho, red hat , trellix. Roles are mostly cloud engineer, web developer, devops engineer , software engineer, backend engineer. Stipend initially are not more them 25000 . It all depends on the role assigned.

Students becomes eligible for campus placements after 6th sem . You can do internships before that . Many companies like zerodha, tcs, Zomato have come for placements Highest package was around 30lpa from Facebook my brothers friends had it. Percentage of students getting placed is pretty low as off right now due to recession. But earlies it was good . My plans after getting degree is doing a few internships and then landing a job in IT itself

College costs vary, but expect yearly tuition increases and fees on top of tuition. Scholarships and work-study can help, and many college offer financial aid. Fees was 1lakh 80 thousand for 1 year but can vary for hostellers and non hostelers. I haven't worked in any internship from college yet so can't say about that but they do offer lots of internships.

We have one main event in college named euphoria in November. It is very good. We get to see our favorite standup comedians and singers come on stage and perform. And the food is great. Their are many more small fests as well for different schools. Availability of book is pretty seamless we get an open library pretty much 24 hours. It has automated issue system. Sports in our college is fine. We won lots of trophies this year actually in state level. They ruined the ground to make helipad.

You get admission based on jee mains and class 12th result. There is no special exam for this college at least in B.Tech. You can easily find the admission details on google on their website. Exams were held 2 times mid-sem and end-sem. Gap of around 2 months between the two exams. They were mediocre in level. Admission process is pretty easy they need to improve they referral system as i referred 2 students and still dint get any rewards.

Faculty is good. Enough for the students. Faculty is well thought i think. They help out when needed. Some are bad of course but the good ones cover up for them. Teachers are very approachable as long as we message them beforehand. They will allow us to visit anytime
