The curriculum of mechanical is very old fashioned . They teach about the machines and techniques which are not even used in the industries nowadays.More emphasis is given on theoretical knowledge. In my opinion curriculum does'nt helps in real world applications . More emphasis on practical knowledge should be given . There are 2 semesters in a year and each sem has one mid sem and one end sem paper.

I'm currently in second year so I'm not much aware about internship opportunities but as far as i know many companies like Google , Microsoft , Mahindra visit the college for internship . Stipend varies fro 25000/month to 110000/month.

Fee structure depends upon the income level and category of the student . For income below 1 lac = 0 tution fee +25000 hostel and mess fee/sem for income between 1-6lac = 55000 tution fee+25000 hosteland mess fee/sem for income above 6 lac = 98000 tution fee + 25000 mess and hostel fee/sem for SC/ST students tution fee = 0 many govt. and private scholarships are provided by the college which can be seen from college official website

There is one cultural fest ie Culrav and one technical fest is Avishkar. Honestly speaking the fests are really poor as compared to the other colleges because of lack of funds given to the organizing team. Same goes with the clubs also. They are also bad due to lack of funds . Library is very good and has almost every type of book . Anyone with a college ID can borrow a book from the library. Student run social group is Anokhi Pehel which teaches the poor students from the nearby locality on the daily basis for free.

Hostel facilities are just decent not soo good not so bad . First year hostel is Swami Vivekanand Boys Hoatel which accomodates 4 students in one room . hostel provides student with a bed a table and a chair rest everything is to be brought by the students . Second year hostels are Tilak Hostel and Patel hostel . They are really small and accomodates 2 students in one room. Third year hostel is Malviya and Tandon their condition is also same as second year hostel. Final year hostel is Mega Hostel which is newly made and has the best facilities . Mess food is more or less same in every mess not so good not so bad.

Eligibility = Jee Mains qualified Online application on the NTA website , form fees = 1200, dates mentioned on the website Admission is conducted by an independent body JOSAA. All the qualified students sit into the counselling of JOSAA and fill their preference about the college . now the JOSSA allots the student a seat on the basis of his rank and preference. Many reservations like economic reservations and caste reservations are given to the students.

For being a faculty one must have a PHD . Each branch is divided into group and each group is divided into subgroups. For mechanical there are 164 students in 2022 batch which is divided into 2 group of 82 and each group is divided into subgroup of 41 . so faculty to student ratio for mechanical is 1:41 which is pretty ideal.Some faculties are really good while others are not intrested much in teaching . They just mind their own business. any student can interact with the faculty in their working hours.
