Course Curriculum Overview
Being a NEP 2023 batch, its hard to comprehend how to write answers and how to study. Studying in college, writing answers, is a very different experience than what we went through in school and since we are the new batch of students with new sort of rules, it is hard to grasp the apt way we need to prepare for the exams and without the any guidance from the past years papers (since our question paper pattern has been restructured). However, the teachers are very helpful, they have been trying their best to prepare us for the exams and the real world. The curriculum doesn't really matches with a vocational degree's need
Internships Opportunities
Internship has become an integral part of our curriculum since NEP 2020 has been implemented. It is compulsory for everyone and the college offers various free internships over the course years. The CRs would also send IIT or IIM partnered paid courses that will land you paid internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Unlike other colleges in. Kolkata, Shri Shikshayatan College provides a affordable fees structure for a some what costly course such as BBA. Its a renowned institution that attracts many student but its fees structure for a BBA course is better and more affordable than any private institutes. There are swami Vivekananda scholarship schemes.
Campus Life
There are many social groups or clubs run by the students of Shri Shikshayatan College. Many of these clubs organize events, seminars, send their members to compete in other colleges. The library is not that big but has an impressive collection of books that you will need over the course of time.
Admission
Since, the medium of teaching is in English, you need to have English in your 12th class else any stream is eligible for the course. You will find the application form and dates on the Shri Shikshayatan College website, the application process is smooth and you are shortlisted in any list you will be reached via email however it is suggestive to keep looking at your application from time to time.
Faculty
The BBA faculty has highly qualified teachers who are patient and understanding towards students needs and queries. The BBA HOD has a separate staffroom where she is available to any students needs. However some guest faculty may come across as inefficient.
