My experience in Presidency University

Presidency university offers diverse course's for all the students. The course curriculum that opted for is computer science engineering with the specialization of blockchain. I opted for this course due to it's vast growth in the modern technology but the university is hardly giving any real time application knowledge on the subject. The exams are done too fast, they are completing a sem within 3.5 to 4 months with only a midterm and a end term with no practical knowledge . They have 8 to 9 subjects in one sem . The mid exam are completed too fast, they keep two exams per day making it hard on the students. The subjects have 4 module in them and the exam question are directly from the module making the students by that the module with gaining any knowledge. The exams are easy compared to other universities in Bangalore.

Presidency university fee structure is average compared to other university. The got the kcet seat in the college making me have no donations and other expensive. But for the other states students the fee structure is little bit overpriced. I get kcet scholarship of 18k per year by the government not the university. The financial option are also provided with college education loans for the student , who want to go for loans.

Presidency university focuses more on club events and social aspects. There are more clubs in university and more than one club for each courses. The facilities given to the club is limited and no financial support for the club growth. Some club involve in student growth and provided internships for the students, but the sports and extracurricular activities offered in the university is very less.

I got the eligibility for the course , has I wrote the kcet entrance exam. The admission process was smooth and fast if you have all the documents and eligibility. The application form will be on kcet official page and the application fees low as it is government aided. The areas that need to be improved in admission is time taken for other state students admission and taking eligible students for the university. Kcet exams will be off 3 days with a hard question paper and more competition

Most of the faculties have phd with them, but the teaching is not upto the mark as teacher's care less about the students academic growth. The student faculty interactions is less. The faculty doesn't care about the student knowledge and interests in the subject. They practical knowledge given the student is very less comparatively with the other university. The assignment are randomly give with no gain experience of the subject. The faculty of presidency university are not best according to me but all the faculty are not same as some faculty do care about making the students gain knowledge of the subject.
