Likes
- BMSCE is located at a top location in Bengaluru and hence it becomes so easy to commute from here.
- College has events every week and students are free to attend those events even if they are not of their department.
- College canteen offers variety of food and thus it makes our mom's work easier as they don't have to prepare our tiffins early in the morning.
Dislikes
- A little bit of biasedness can be seen from faculties towards the students from Karnataka.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE was the branch I was looking after and I feel I am lucky that i got it too. Our curriculum has more lab sessions than classroom sessions. We are taught practically as industry experts have designed our course to ensure that we are industry ready before we have degrees in our hands.
Placement Experience
Since college holds responsibility for making sure that maximum students gets placements therefore not before final year are students allowed to try for interviews at the college campus. TCS, Wipro, L&T Technology and all the big names in this space comes to BMSCE every year and hires a lot of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I will be honest as I have gone through management quota my fees is high but merit holders get good discounts and also their fees is almost half than what I have paid. My cost of education at BMSCE would be a tad above 30 lakhs but I still feel it's a bargain.
Campus Life
UTSAV is our annual fest and that happens in May every year. For sports we have a building full of Indoor sporting activities like table tennis, squash, badminton, chess and others. For student with outdoor pursuits, we have multiple playing fields.
Admission
KCET for the students who are from same state and for rest of the Indians they have to compulsarily give Comed-K. A few seats in every branch is under management quota and that's how one gets here. Exams are like monthly as each test and practical exam have their scores added in the final tally.
Faculty
Top rated and the ones whose work speaks for themselves. All are research scholars and have done a lot of research in their subject. Thus, there credentials apart from degrees that they hold is their potent researches.
