- No Own Hostel -This College As Far As I Know Does Not Have Any Owned Hostel And Students Who Came From Outstation To Study Struggle To Find Good Affordable PG Nearby Or Within The Aprroximate Location Of the College Area.
- College Lifestyle - This College Has Small Playing Ground And College Canteen Which Is Not So Big To Accomodate Large Crowd Even The Food Is Expense Here.
- Placements & Internships - This College May Provide Very Few Opportunities For Placements and Internships The Students Are Needed To Find Job Them Only. They Are Providing Few Seminar On Trending Technology And Career Guidance Seminars.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum Is very much similar and matching with professional course like CA,CS,CMA and if any student pursuing these courses then BCom hons in accounting and finance with this college will be the best decision and so i did it as at that time i had this same thinking. And You Mostly Get bcom hons in accounting and finace or markting in calcutta university affiliated college as far as i know so you have to choose among them only . The latest improvement in education policy is great as interships are compulsory for one to do that an great way to increase chances of your employable status when you approach for one. Timing of exams are great and adequate syllabus of the time given for preparation period.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee Structure Of this college is very economical that 5600 yearly payment for 2 semester and you have to pay exam fees per semester may range from 400-500 may increase in some cases like pratical or such. The Scholarship is not provided by college directly as far i know the west bengal give scholarships like SVMCM [ Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Scholarship ] Which i was entitled to which provied you 12000 yearly payment if you get 60+ marks in 12th you can apply for it when it is released in offical site of scholarship also college will provided needed instruction as soon the offical site of scholarship update for the year. And To maintain this scholarship you need to get maintain the standard of your marks means first divion every year also no supply in any year. Campus placement or internships are rare and not very often in this college.
Campus Life
The annual fest theat was conducted in my session was named as Parichay 2k24 and where different bengali famous singers came as to sing and make the evening a joyful remeberance. The accessibilty of books in library are few subjects you gets all important books but for few subject you may face dissapointment but if you reach to seniors they can guide what to do for that subject and you may have to buy or if they had you can use thier book. The facilities and technologies in classroom was in recent development in my session that was smart board similar to educom we used to have in some schools and this also leads to a great experience of joy and excitement for teachers and studnets both. This college have cricket and footbal and many outdoor and indoor sports inter competitions and also e-sports competions sometimes. And it also have inter college dance competitions which has been won by our college few times.
Admission
The Eligibilty Of the course is you have to be 12th pass. After That you need to fill up the admission form when college release it on thier offical website in my time in 2022 there was no application fees i am not aware of it now. After Admission Form may be few days or weeks college will release merit list first,second or third.. so on till seats are left once you get your name in merit list you need to pay the fees and take the receipt printout as its very important when you get first time in college take it with you 2 copies of it may be helpful on your innitial days of your college. After Payment wait when college release the date of you first day in college remember to take the receipt of payment you made. The frequency of exam are every 6 months and the difficulty increase as semester gets increased.
Faculty
The Faculty-to-student ratio is satisfactory in nature. It Give An Student Good Chance To Approach The Teacher While He/She Is Teaching And Usually The Teachers Are Kind And Helpful In Nature That They Give Relatable Examples To Explain the Students Which Make The Learning Experience Healthy . The Faculty In This College Are Mostly PHD Holders And Highly Qualified And Teaching Methods Are Very Innovative And Feels Like An Experienced Person Is Teaching With Numerous Examples And Case Studies. Moreover, They Tend To Provide Their Email If You Need In Off Hours For Academics Or Project Work. Whenever I HAve Approach Teachers They Give Proper Attention To Your Issue Or Doubt And Try To Solve It Right Away. Yes, They Have An Busy Schedule So Be Concise With What You Want So That Able To Help You Faster.
