The course curriculum at mmv bhu is good but it is somewhat outdated in today's scenario it needs to be changed with changing issues in society.. The curriculum is interesting when studying but fails to prepare students for the present World problems as it is more inclined towards the issues of past

Internships Opportunities

Paid internships are barely provided to the students by the college even the non paid ones are pretty uncommon.. College do not provide internships that much students can find themselves and get enrolled.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only government scholarships can benefit the students—the state government ones or central government ones. Coming to the fee structure, is quite affordable around 325 for even semester and 1700 something for odd ones and around 4800 is the admission fee for BA Hons social science College do not provide placements

When it comes to campus ,social life and club involvement bhu is a nice place.. Bhu has a beautiful,big wide , green campus with a temple , museum and several gardens in it... It is so green with so many trees and flower plants..

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are pretty average here , some of them are new some of them are old new ones provide you with facilities like doorwell ,washing machine but they are compact, on the other hand tha old ones having not much facilities gives you beautiful hostel gardens in the middle of hostel...

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

I got admission in the course by the cuet exam in which I scored 328/400 I am from general category. The admission process became quite complicated as you have to gather information about documentsto be taken and when to come for the classes on your own because college don't provide with any information except when to come for counseling.

Teachers at mmv are quite interactive when it comes to studies And most of the times they don't really involve in changing there approach to teaching or the teaching style... They keep the same approach.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

MMV - my college

I didn't apply for other colleges as I find it best with a good budget and good mess food. So no rejection. For admission you have to fill cuet form , give the exam. After that do the registration then if you get selected you have to complete further process. At last you have to go for physical verification of documents....Read More

The eligibility of the course was one has completed his/her 12th. First we had to fill the CUET form and go through entrance exam and then we had to fill the registration form of BHU and then the counselling was done. BHU(MMV) 's life

Eligibility - 12th pass. Now you've to apply and pass CUET(UG) exams but during my times there was specific university based exams so I can tell about it. There is a proper cut off of the main campus, then MMV, then other women's colleges and then DAV. The exam weren't too easy and difficult. Mid ranged and if you prepare well you're gonna excel it. The counselling process specifically for general people is too much hefty. I remember just standing and waiting for like 4-5 hours before my admission was finally finished. Life at MMV- established 1929

One need to complete 12 th standard with bio science and entrance is through cuet. Cuet application form is available around March-April on nta website. Application fees depends on the number of subjects you have chosen to give exams. There is reservation for obc/st/sc. Cuet occurs once a year and paper is moderate to easy. After cuet results, one must go to bhu website to apply for counseling through normal and paid seat.
