Detailed review of B.Tech CSE at Parul institute of technology

Talking about the course and curriculum it is well modernised and according to the trends , this college has a mixed way of teaching it is teaching us very modernised subjects as well as holding the traditional subjects If we talk about the pros of the curriculum it is updated after every 3 years Recently they started a course with collaboration with 4 top MNC called IEP (industry embaded program) the 4 company provides special training program to the students who are enrolled in this course, the four companies are SAP, Microsoft, Quick Heal , Oracle Cons in my opinion are the subject like student of computer science it should be removed or may be they should give some relaxation in the syllabus of maths Talking about examination there are two major examination in which semester one is mid semester exam and other is end semester other then that there are two weekly test before both exams for the practice and internal marks purpose

The college provides their own internship as well as different company provide internship to the student every year at different roles the college also provide internship course with a guaranteed internship for guaranteed placement the stipend it different based on your skills and your position on which you are working

From the 8th semester students become eligible aur campus placements sab major company visited are Amazon byju's Microsoft TCS Wipro etc highest package is increasing day by day as the college is doing well in its field last year for B.tech CSE it was 30 lakhs and the average package is somewhere around 5 to 6 lpa 80 to 90% student gets placed every year Considering about my plan if I will get a good job with a good salary I will continue to work and gain experience for three or four years after that I have decided to go to abroad for my masters

There is no such policy of tution fee increment however the hostel fee is increased 3 to 5 thousand rupees every year Complete cost for my course in 10.4 lakhs for four years including hostel (mess and laundry ) Two major scholarship in the college are defence scholarship for wards of defence staffs and one scholarship based on 12th percentage for the first year only , other than that college also organise scholarship exams . You can work on Shops inside the campus there are lots of shops inside the campus, you can be an intern of college who guides the new students at the time of admission the college administration will provide you 15k per month for that , you can work as MFF (my first friend) at you floor of hostel you have to take attendance of the students of your floor your rector will pay you 500 per month

So finally talking about the most famous thing is in this college it's fests college has one annual festival for Dhoom in which different types of programs are held for 3 to 4 days it generally occur in the month of March which end with a huge concert where lots of big celebrities come and perform to entertain the student other than that college also organise technical projection which include technical games and many different fun activities which also ends with a concert which great singers This college has every outside game such as volleyball cricket football hockey etc there is also skateboarding club horse riding club swimming club etc student want to start any club they could get permission from the higher authorities if the college approves they can start their club. Other than that campus is spread in a large area to the campus life after the class is really enjoyable with friends there are lots of food courts and different places to sit and enjoy

Hostel facilities in the college I really good, There are 38 different hostel inside the campus with each hostel having capacity of 3 to 5 thousand students show the availability is pretty good the room is good will as home with your roommate different type of sharing options are available everyday room cleaning service is done and bathroom is cleaned everyday along with hostel laundry and mess services are provided to student The quality of mess food is average someday it is good some day it is average so student has to manage if they want they can eat outside the mess there are lots of food courts in the campus There are also lots of PG available nearby outside the campus the college also provide bus services

Eligibility of the course is just you have to score 45 percent or above in your 12th board exam it is a private University so no reservation benefits are available here the college don't conduct any entrance exam they accept your 12th exam for the admission process the admission process is easy you will get a counselor who will guide you throughout the process from your hometown area of improvement in my opinion should be they should have provide one single cabin for all the process after coming to college as I get admitted to this college we have to do lot of paperwork running here and there from different cabin to different cabin so college management should reconsider it and provide one single cabin for all the process

At Parul institute of engineering and technology we get a young as well as old professors with a good knowledge of their subjects as my personal opinion new and young faculties are more energetic and students like me prefer to study from them , they new the teaching trends and ways they are more friendly with us so it's easy to us to learn in a enjoying way , talking about the ratio it is somewhere around 50:1 If we leave some of the faculties rest all faculties are very kind and loving their teaching approach is pretty good which influence the students. They are ready to help us after the class as well whenever they are free . So for me if some topics are not cleared in the class I can learn them personally 1 on 1 with my favourite faculty, so yeah from teaching point of view I will rate my college as 9/10
