- Fixed hostel timings and that too 9 pm at night and opens at 6 am in morning
- Hostel and mess for mbbs are compulsory which should be an option
- College is far from main city dehradun which makes it a little tough to have recreational activities
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is relevant and updated as per the standards of NMC(national medical council) guidelines. All the new updates are quickly brought into action by the head of our course and teaching is made student friendly as much as possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mbbs tuition fees now is 21 lakhs per year for the mbbs batch 2024. Mess charges are 84000 a year and hostel charges are 90000 a year for double accomodation non AC room. For uttarakhand students, 60 students get a rebate of 25% rebate as per the merit in state quota.
Campus Life
College lacks in festival celebration but are slowly catching up with it. Social events are frequently conducted in the campus to enhance students engagement into cocurricular activities. This halps students get out of their boredom daily routine.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite good and rooms are spacious. They provide with an individual cupboard for both the students living in a room. Water facilities are adequate and cleanliness is maintained in the hostels.
Admission
You can get an admission into this college only through neet if examination conducted nationwide. You can apply for this college through all India quota if you belong to any other state than uttarakhand or through state quota if you have a domicile of uttarakhand.
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified and interested in teaching and clearing doubts of students. They are very helpful in nature and would go an extra mile if student is willing to learn. They always promote understanding over rot learning the concepts.
