Glimpses of SKIT JAIPUR

I m right now pursuing btech in Data Science branch, and i chose this as it has demand in future and i have interest in fields related to computer. The curriculum followed in my college in not sufficient for me to excel in my field. I have to put in more and more efforts into it. College curriculum just helps in basic building blocks in our field but we have to do a way more hard work to achieve desired goals. Course curriculum needs improvement in various fields like to suggest more internship opportunities to students, increase interest of students by organising conferences, meetings with known personalities. The frequency of exams is nice and the difficulty level in average.

We have inhouse internships every year for 15 or 45 days. No stipend is provided in in-house internship as they are provided by college themselves. Industry or out house have to be searched by students themselves also. In in house internship we learn many languages like java, c++, python, web development etc

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit to our colleges like justpay, aws, adobe, Ambuja cement etc. The rate of placements is quite slow for two or three years. Frequency of Off campus placements is decent but placements depends upon the skills of students and these required skills are acquired by students themselves. I will not solely depend on college, instead i will seek for opportunities on my own and will try to get my desired package through my hard work.

Tution fees is 50000 for each semester, hostel fee is 100000 for each year. You can apply for many scholarship like samaj kalyan yojana etc. To avail relaxation in fees. I have noe taken any undertaken in college but you have an option regarding the same

My campus are is not so big, but wr have proper facilities inside and outside our campus. We have spacious classrooms and labs. But in summers its very difficult to study as we don't have air conditioner or vent in classes. Badic facilities are provided. We have many sports. But don't have proper coaching facilities. There are many clubs, and social groups other than studies for ourselves. We have a very good library and its environment is also very nice. Proper decorum is maintained and all the required books, magazines, newspapers and novels are available for students. We also have computers in library. The building structure is also nice and well maintained. Very less fest and functions are organized by our college,the biggest fest of the year named pravah is organized and the other fest is ici. The disadvantage of our college is that the other extra curriculum activities like sports, fest ,functions are too less

I filled reap counselling form for rajasthan colleges in which you have been provided with reap rank according to your jee mains percentile or 12th boards percentage. I filled up rajasthan college according to my priorities and then i had been alloted with SKIT College with my rank and vacancies. The rank is provided differently in different criteria like EWS, general and other reserved category. No exams or entrance test has to be given for getting admission, the deciding criteria is your jee mains score or 12th marks. The process is simple but advised to fill it in the presence of an experienced person.

Faculties are very good in nature, some teachers feels like home, they interact with students in such a good way, they teaches us many values for our lives other than studies also. Some teachers teaches in such a descriptive manner that no topic is as such left in it, but some teachers teaches in short manner, and in these subjects we have to put in more efforts. We have decent faculty members in each subjects to clear our doubts. Teachers are available all the time during college hours.
