Remarks

The Eligibility of the b.com degree course is 12th pass from a renowned board. The students should be pass the average percentage marks. After passed the higher secondary examination I applied different colleges for admission.

I choose B.com degree course because it offers students the wide range of career option in Accounting, finance, marketing, management, human resource and entrepreneurship. This versatility allows student to explore different fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

I choose b.com course, in 1st semester admission, I paid 4005 rupees. Our college give students scholarship opportunities to pay their college fees and tuition fees and all resources like books. The scholarships such as kanya Shree, Swami Vivekananda scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

As my college is in my nearest location so I don't live in hostel. Our college campus is clean and have a beautiful garden. Our college have a two library and have specific library for commerce student. The students have opportunity to have books from digital library

Our teachers and faculty member's are always kind, helpful and generous. They always treated students like friend. They always had time for us and understood students. Our teacher is very disciplined and punctual and ensures that we follow this principles.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Reality of a Government college

The admission was done over merit.The board sets a panel of merit got in higher secondary examination. In the college portal we can find the admission date ,fees,and application form and the students also might have them.
