Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course was more into manufacturing sector and to promote make in India I chose this course. Ours was autonomous so the internals and exams were well spaced and it was not too difficult. Better than VTU

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship is not much. Only those who are liked by faculty are given a chance for internships. Others had to dins it on their own. We got 3000 remuneration for internship completion outside mysore and 1500 for inside mysore.

Placement Experience

4

The placements was good. There were multiple companies like Siemens, Microsoft, accenture, TCS, Bosch which came for campus placements. In my batch around 60% got placed and others went abroad for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I went through management quota so I had to pay comedK fees which was 1.5 Lalhs per annum. I am in general category so did not have any reservation or scholarships. But my friends who had scholarships said they got it on time every year and the process was smooth.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was good. We stayed in hostel which was very fun. We had our annual fest which had multiple commitees formed to make sure it runs smoothly, we had many sports tournaments also, we went to VTU zonals

Admission

Mt college is pretty well knows and has a decent cut off rate. The CET cut off rank for my course was about 3000. I did not make that and comedK cut off was also about 2500 which I did not make so had to go through management. The PRO was a very well mannered and approachable person who helped.

Faculty

4

There were very highly qualified faculty in my department with almost all having phDs from IITs. They used to not have arrogance and used to be patient with any question we ask. We could go to them with any problem without hesitation.
