Likes
- The departments have enough facilities for students to learn and practice on.
- The anatomy department has good cadavers around 6-7 cadavers that are divided in 150 students
- The college also has small cafes in the campus.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty are non medicos meaning they have not done mbbs rather something else like BSC.
- The mess conditions are very poor regarding the quality of food.
- The location is on a highway and we have to go far for our basic needs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good. MBBS has a total of 19 subjects that are divided into 4.5 years of study. Then we have to do a mandatory 1 year rotational internship in the hospital. The curriculum also gives importance to practical aspects.
Internships Opportunities
After 4.5 years of study there is a mandatory 1 year rotational internship. This internship pays a stipend of 5k per month which is not even close to the government guidelines of 12k per month. And if you miss a single day they will cut 160
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees is 75 lakh for 4.5 years. Hostel and mess fees is 1.5 lakh per year. For scholarships you can go onto the government approved websites. During internship, we receive a stipend of 5k every month which is less according to government guidelines.
Campus Life
There are many festivals held the main being Panacea which is held every december- january. The library is upto mark on all the required books. There are 4 air conditioned lecture halls with projectors
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel is a 3 person room. 2 rooms share one washroom meaning 6 people 1 washroom for boys. The mess is very poor in terms of quality of food. Registration process for hostel is through college only
Admission
Eligibility- Passed NEET exam Admission to the institute is through NEET exam counselling which takes place around 2 months after the result. There is no reservation in private colleges. NEET exam is held once a year.
Faculty
In second year there are more than enough faculties. They are all well educated and have done MBBS. We can interact with them during or even after college hours. The faculty gives their best to make this course as simple as possible.
