- Faculty is good for first year as per my experience. They do put efforts in teaching.
- As for the hostel, food is also good just except for few days which is normal for every hostel i guess.
- Placement are also good if you really put efforts in academics and skill development.
Dislikes
- There are very fewer fests in comaprison to other colleges.
- You may feel like you are in school because of the strictness and discipline management asks for.
Course Curriculum Overview
As for Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), the curriculum is designed by TCS which is pretty good and is based on industrial needs. There are selective subjects too which you can choose to go into a particular field. Overall, the curriculum is pretty good. We have three sessional in a semester and final sem exams. Other than that, there are weekly tests too.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide intership directly. You have to do it by yourself. But students from our college have got internship even in microsoft but it's all in the hands of the student. College do not claim to give interships.
Placement Experience
Placements are fine but you will need to work on yourself for a good placement. You cannot be dependent on the college for everything. From 6th semester you become eligible for placements. TCS, wipro, infosys, zscaler are some companies which visit our college. The highest has gone upto 50 LPA and average package is 4 LPA. About 60-70% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for four years would be around 6-7 lacs which is normal for B. Tech. But if your percentile is good, you can also be fee waiver which reduces fee a lot. Also, if you have done schooling from UP, you can apply for UP scholarship. Education loan is also applicable.
Campus Life
There are not many fests in our college. But every year two fests are organised. One is "Jagmag" which is a diwali fest and the other one is a technical fest. Other than that hackathons are there. Books related to the course are available in the library. Digital board is used for teaching purpose in classroom. Extra curricular activities are also conducted but lesser than the other colleges. There are many clubs which you can participate in. There are few clubs which are meaningful for the society and, also there are dance and singing clubs too.
Hostel Facilities
All rooms are three seater in girls hostel. There are three types of room available in girls hostel : Room with fans only, air-cooled rooms, AC rooms. Meal quality is good except for one or two days in the week. You can register for hostel by discussing with chief warden and paying some advance amount. The hostel is at a reasonable price. It ranges from 1,00,000-1,30,000. There are many PGs and flats and other private hostels available nearby.
Admission
For CSBS, the eligibility criteria is really low because not much people know about it. You can take admission either on behalf of 12th percentage or JEE percentile. You can get the application dates on official website of the college also you can visit the college for admission.
Faculty
Teachers are interactive and supportive but also there are exceptions too. But most of the teachers are good. You can ask questions and they do help you. There are 60 to 70 students in a class, it is not much crowded. Also the faculty to student ratio is pretty good.
