Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of B SC (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) is very vast covering subjects like Core hospitality, nutrition, accounting, financial and strategic management, etc. The syllabus though is not upto the modern hospitality standards and needs to be upgraded.
Placement Experience
IHM PUSA is the the number 1 Hospitality College in India. So all the major recruiters of Hospitality industry come for placement including hotel, retail, airlines, startups, etc . Average package is around 3.25 Lakhs. The major recruiters are Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, ABFRL, ITC, etc.It has 100% placement record every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for BSC HHA is around 4.50 Lakhs. It may increase every year by 5-10%. Few scholarships are also available. The college provides placement opportunities and has almost 100% placement every year. There is also Industrial Training Opportunities which gives you stipend ofaround Rs.1500.
Campus Life
It has a vibrant club and committee culture which includes the oratory, Singing, Drama, Sales and Marketing,etc clubs. The range books in the library is very huge. The faculties the college is also fine. But the campus is very small, not much place to play sports and extra curricular activities in the college is pretty less, especially in the domain of sports.
Admission
The exam for admission at any IHM is NCHM JEE. The exam is easy to moderate level. It happens once every year during May-June. The cut off is based on rank. The cut off for IHM PUSA is around 300 rank for general category.
Faculty
The faculties of IHM PUSA are highly qualified mostly having PHDs or significant experience in the hospitality industry at leadership positions. The faculty-to-student ratio is 50:1. They are very supportive and encourage learning. The faculties at IHM PUSA are very approachable and friendly.
