My experience and review about college and university

Although the curriculum is more research oriented especially my filed that is physics, it is more research oriented after graduation students can opt for higher studies like masters and further go for research. So my priority of taking this course is because i loved the subject very much and my ambition is to become a physics lecturer. Still there are different other courses in this college which prepares students for real world applications like taking the cousre Bsc in electronics students can be more related to real world applications. Some improvements need to be done in teaching methods like in my opinion the teaching should include more practical knowledge than theoretical. And taking about exams, after each semester that comprised of 6 months there will be exams for every subjects and apart from semester exams there are class tests and individual vivas as well.

For the particular college students can choose between internships as well as industrial visits in my case i choosed industrial visit and this was very helpful for me to understand different things and enhances my knowledge in the filed. Various mncs and companies like wipro and tcs are hiring students through campus placements and through internships programs. I also did a job during the internship period as a teacher in collegiate entrance division.

For the particular college i opted the campus placements were limited but the professors were all very helpful to students in finding a job after graduation. For instance i got a job in collegiate entrance division right after graduation. But when it comes to university the university is providing different sorts of campus placements and students are getting hired in a great manner. Almost 20 to 30 percent of students were getting hired to great companies and industries. And rest of students were also getting hired to different companies and institutions based on there brilliance.

The fee structure varies for course to course. Like for my course the university charges for about 10 thousand Indian rupees per semester and there are also some other commerce related courses in which they even charge higher like 15000 to 20000 per semesters. Apart from these semester charges there were only a small exam fees and other than these to there were no hidden charges. Well for toppers there are certain scholarships available and there are also some scholarships for students who were economically backward. Every year students are getting hired to wipro , tcs and various other tech companies through campus placements

Comparing the other campuses in my region this college provides a good infrastructure, the quality of student life in this campus is great. The college is equipped with most modern technologies and laboratories. Taking about annual days and festivals it happens in the month of February and September. The sports days are held in the month of January and its one the most beautiful days in college. The libraries were also equipped with latest journals and books , still there is small charge in library it still worth for. There are different clubs like eco club, nss and ncc clubs anti ranging clubs etc which are always helpful to students as well as society.

For this particular college there were no entrance exams. The admission process relies completely on the 12 th marks ,that means if you have good grades in 12th then the probability of getting admission in the college will be high. Apart from getting admission to college on merits there are some entrance examination done by university in wich people can study to their desired course in some particular colleges not all colleges accept the entrance exam. Yes for my case there were no entrance exams.

Well taking about the qualifications and effectiveness of faculty members, most of them are up to the mark and most of the professors working are Phd holders. There are only a few staffs and teachers who doesn't have a phd. Even though some lacks phd but their quality of tecahing and mentoring doesn't affect the students learning life. Furthermore, study life is more theoretical students can interact with teachers every time they want and they were always ready to help. Still there are practicals and in practical sections also the teachers were all available full time throughout the session.
