- The college infrastructure is adequate , but compared to private colleges, it is not as good.
- for first year student , 75% attendence is mandatory, otherwise they may be barred from taking exams.
- in the first year , the hostel food is much better compared to the other years, but there are a lot of restrictions in the first year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is not that hard , and getting good marks is easy , but in the core branch , teacher do not give marks easily in exams. The syllabus is not according to industry requirements, so you will have to study on your own. There are two minor exams and one major exam each semester in college. exam question are repeated on each year so it is not difficult so much
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide any internships; you have to arrange them yourself externally either by paying for internship or doing it for free. Most students from this college(mmmut) opt for paid internships.( I haven't done an internship yet).
Placement Experience
The college placement is good . if you are in cse/it branch ,, you can easily get an average package of around 8lpa. in other core branches, you can expect packages upto 6lpa. The highest placement from the college has been 52lakhs, and off campus , students from here can get jobs 20 to 30 lakhs in cse , it and ece student . maximum core branch student go for higher studies like gate and cat exam . cse and it student prefer to placement on their final year.
Fees and Financial Aid
every year , the tution fee is 55000. The total cost for completing a btech course including hostel, mess and other expenses, is 600000. there are two types of scholarship available u.p scholarship and central scholarship ( obc/general= 58000 and sc/st = 110000 are amount scholarship on each year)
Campus Life
The biggest fest of the college is ABHIYUDYA , which happens every year in march. The library here is excellent , it has WiFi and all the books available are among the best library in u.p . MMMUT 's library is one of the best in the state. There are many clubs and scieties here that organise events in collabroation with student , which keeps the college buzzing with activities.
Hostel Facilities
The first year hostel is very good compared to other years . in the first year, you will get a large open yard inside the hostel where you can play game , but this facilities is not available in the hostels for other years studends. The food in the first year hostel is the best , while the 2nd year hostel's food isn't as good. the menu remains the same for all years.In the firstyear , rooms are allocated in two ways some rooms accomadated two students , while others accomodatede four. in the second and third year , room typically accommodate four student each , and in the final year , student are alloted single rooms.
Admission
Eligibility for the Btech course at MMMUT require 12th grade with 60% in pcm , and college allocates branches based on the JEE Main exam. The college provides seats under a reservation quota so even with a low rank , you can get good branches like CSE and IT. If your rank in the JEE Main exam is under 50000 , you can easily get CSE , after that , the chances of getting cse are low.
Faculty
The college teachers are good , they always attend class . the CSE/IT teachers are better compared to the core branch teachers. The teachers listen to students' doubt and try to explain things to them. teacher create a whatsapp group to intract with student.
