Course Curriculum Overview
The course BDS is very tough and it has a lot of practical work than theory. It needs a lot of training and for some students, it takes more time to study and master in each department. Nowadays in India, this course is saturated. But if you are capable of doing better work you will get better opportunities. The UG course has less application than the clinical world. So we also learn more in clinics after graduation.
Internships Opportunities
The college itself provides a one-year intership for all students and monthly they get around 25000 rupees as a stipend from the government. for this course, There is no company that will approach you for the job. After internship, you have to find your job as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
For this course, the fee structure under KUHS is fixed for govt colleges. It is around 25000 rupees. There may be some additional charges for college and it depends upon the college you study. You will get various scholarships like MCM, and E-grans if you apply for them. The campus will provide the internship but you have to look after clinics or further studies like PG.
Campus Life
In my college, the extracurricular activities are arranged by the student union and with the help of the principal. Every year college has arts and various sports. Even KUHS also conducts various arts and sports to improve the mental health and quality of the students and encourage their skills.
Hostel Facilities
In our college, the hostel facility is available but the hostel infrastructure is very old. But the hostel mess is provided and it is running under students' mess. So we provide better food for students
Admission
So the admission process takes place by the all India NEET competitive exam and you have to make sure a rank of around 25000 or above to get the admission. If state rank is listed you have to be under 5000 rank. It is a bit difficult but the higher your rank you will get a better college. When the government opens the portal you have to apply for the course and they will alot the college for your corresponding rank.
Faculty
There are fifteen students per faculty or less in the college. In some departments, the faculties are very friendly and helpful in our course. In some other departments, they are not friendly and approachable. But the faculty members are very experienced in the course except for some junior lectures.
