My College Review on my university

Gla offers a four year program in computer science and engineering that is broken up into eight semesters of 5 months each. Students take classes in engg. mechanics, electrical, mathematics, softwares, etc.. With practical labs to support learnings, the third year of computer science focuses on fundamental topics such as operating systems, DBMS , DLD, etc.

Internships are available in the university from second year ownwards and also from third year. If you get CPI over 7.8 then you are eligible for the internships and placements in campus of the university.

In the third year, you'll be called for internships if you gain skills and CPI over 8.0 and in the final year you'll get the placement opportunities in the campus only from the various MNCs and top companies offering high packages to the students. the overall placement is good as compared from the other nearby colleges.

The average total fees of the four year btech cse program without specializations is approx 1260000, but if you opt for sepcializations then you'll have an extra expense of 35000-40000 per year. Also, scholarships are available on the basis of the JEE Mains score or the percentage of 12th in PCM subjects. Acc. to the range of percentage you'll recieve various scholarships.

The overall experience is good, the campus life, the hostel life is better than expected. Wardens are very friendly to the students. The events are held regularly in the college by the different clubs and students from other universities also join us sometimes and there are 2 mega events like DJ nights and concerts n all. So overall experience of the social life is best.

The hostel facilities of GLA are better than expected as from the other hostels. They have better food quality and services. Rooms are big enough and are made inside the univeristy only. Registration process is online and offline both. just pay the fees and get registered for hostel and book whichever room you want to book acc. to availabity.

First you have to give an entrance test on the gla website which is called gla entrance test if you pass the test then you will get the admission letter and then after some time you will have two lock the seat where the 50,000 token money will be deposited and after that in the month of June or July you will be called for the fee submission for the academic registration n all the stuff.

Each and every teacher is well qualified and trained in the university. Almost everyone is having a masters or a post graduate qualifications in the univeristy. This makes it feel like we are surrounded by top educated and well trained faculty members in the university.
