- Environment of the college due to local area students is little bad. As they used to speak in thei local language and it looks very wierd.
- Gla university is little school type with some restrictions inside the university.
- There is no uniform which is somewhat good for everyone but I would like to have it.
Course Curriculum Overview
In CSE there are very good learning experience apart from first year as there are the subjects like physics chemistry and all. But all the subjects are good from 2nd year onwards. From 2nd year there are operating system, Computer network, microprocessor etc which core for CSE. Students
Internships Opportunities
It is not as such great. The college provide the internship fron various iits nits, iiits and many companies like devsalane, jpmorgan, etc. But very few of the student get internship as there is marks criteria for the internships and all.
Placement Experience
It is 86% placement I think which is quite good with the average of 500000 in tier 3 college. Students are allowed for the placements by the end of the 5th semester. Sometimes with good CGPA(8.5) students also introduced to placement drives by the end of their 4th year. Now I have completed my 4th sem and I have gone through one of the placement drives in devslane company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, fee is quit high as it take nearly 200000 (CSE) academic fee for the first year and get increase 3000 every next year. Electronics with 185000 which are the top placement courses of our college. And scholarship are also provided by the college on the basis of your 12th marks its 33000 off if you have 90+ in your 12th, 25000 off on 85+, 20000 off 80+. And if belongs to uttar pradesh then you can get up scholarship of 60k and more from the government too.
Campus Life
There is annual fest organized by the college at end of the academics named spandan which is the longest fest in the college. There are cricket, football, handball, targert ball, kabadi, badminton, tennis, tabletennis, etc. Sometimes the club also organise the BGMI tournament for the students. There are many coding clubs, dance clubs, which organise many events to boost the students knowledge. The take coding contest and award the students to boost their confidence.
Hostel Facilities
Hotels are inside the campus, which are somewhat far from the academic blocks. No such facilities are provided in the hostel just bed, table, light, chair, nothing else. In mess there is good meal quality except sometimes. And after eating same type of food everytime, the meals become used to and there is nomore Interest in going mess for the meal.
Admission
There is GLAET GLA entrance test for the admissions. I am not pretty sure about the cutoff. But the admission of the interested students is done for every student. The GLAET is like only for formality of entrance test. And the question are very basics and easy of the entrance test.
Faculty
The ratio is good as there are 3000 students in our batch we never faced an issue regarding faculties with their preseence. The problem is there with some faculties as some of them are not able convey their knowledge to students. But apart from it all the faculties are great. They are always helpfull any time you want either they are your subject teacher or not
