This college is linked with GMERS hospital with a capacity of 350 beds provides excellent health care facilities to citizens. This college is equipped with a central library, laboratories related to subjects, a large auditorium, football ground, gymnasium, cricket playground, and good hostel facilities. This college is situated on Patan unjha state highway so provides good connectivity. Also, it has faculty staff quarters.

MBBS course divided in 5and half years. In which the first year has anatomy, physiology and biochemistry subjects which are preclinical subjects. The duration is 1 year. In the second year, there are a pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, and forensic medicine and toxicology subjects which are para-clinical subjects the duration of this is 1 and half year. In the third first there are Opthalmology, ENT and community medicine. the duration is 1 year and the 3rd final has surgery, medicine, Obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, psychiatry, radiology subjects the duration is 1 year. and finally, there is a one-year internship.

Yes. Our college provides internship as it is attached GMERS general hospital. The stipend is given to interns as per rules of the ministry of health and family welfare government of Gujarat. Stipend given to interns is 13000 rupees per month.

There are very good opportunities for the job after graduation. As this college is govt.society college after completion of MBBS there are chances of getting a government job like primary health center, community health center even in private hospitals also at a very good salary.

There is a very good hostel facility at this college. Each room has 1 cupboard,1bed,1 chair, and 1 study table. Each room is very spacious and well ventilated with good drinking water facility. Each room has 4 tubelites and 2 fans well lighted. The hostel has a playground and sitting area also. Mess food quality is very bad and very costly 2300 rupees per month.

The exam is taken by hemchandracharya north Gujarat university. Exam structure has including theory exam as well as the practical exam. The exam is taken by the university as a yearly pattern. Exam pattern is different in year wise MBBS course as per the requirement of knowledge. In first year MBBS, there is complete written exam no MCQs include while in 2nd MBBS include Some MCQs.

I had given neet(ug) exam which is necessary admission in medical college all over India. I scored 408 out of 720 in neet. Based on meet marks admission committee for professional undergraduate medical education courses, Gujarat made the merit of students who given neet exam. My merit number was 1330. Total seats of MBBS in Gujarat is 4200. Based on my merit I have options GMERS medical colleges Valsad, Patan, Junagadh, himmatnagar and vadnagar but I selected GMERS patan because it is recognized by medical council of India and it has good facilities and infrastructure.
