The course curriculum had been prepared efficiently considering all aspects. The curriculum starts with teaching u basics and then taking u to further aspects of the particular course where u can correlate the previous course with the current course which will make u to understand the concepts clearly. Labs will be taken simultaneously for the courses requires which is really helpful. 2 lab sessions will be there per week making u to test things in lab. Seperate electronic kit will be given to ECE students with which u can do any kind of experiments, projects anywhere. There will total 3 mid exams per sem where each exam will be give a gap of 1 month. The toughness of exams will be moderate depending on the course

Cognizance, wipro, IBM, Microsoft are some of the companies that offered online internships where courses can be selected on students wish ,with a fee to pay depending on the internship. Projects also will be there as a part of some internships where project should done on the course done based on real world applications.

The students should be maintaining a minimum cgpa of 7 and a cgpa of above 8 will be good enough for any company. Many companies usually visit the university offering placements. The highest package is around 32lpa and the average will like 6 or 8 lpa.

The tuition fee of any btech course at sastra will be 75000 per sem which will be increased with 5% after every year. There will be some additional fees for sports,games,etc which should be paid every year, which will be within 5k. Exam fees should also be paid for every sem exam. The hostel fees will be max of 24k only for room. The mess should be paid monthly which will around 4.5k

Campus life will be good if u are really having friends of ur own vibe. There will be a total of 2 cultural events every year and the technical events will be very common happening very frequently conducting by different technical clubs, but major technical events will be only 2 per year. The library is very large having large number of books, all books required will be available and also books out of the college education will be present. Sports like football, basketball, handball, badminton , cricket everything will be available, interested people can play.

The hostel rooms will be good, space will be sufficient for both 3 in 1 and single rooms. Hot water will be present for bathing in most of the hostels. The hostel food is something u have to adjust with and it's completely veg.

The application for admission at sastra will be found in the main web page of sastra university. The application fees is 600. The admission for sastra university will be completely based on your scores in JEE and 12th board. Ranks will be provided for students based on the scores in JEE and 12th board. Which will then be used for counseling. The tamil nadu people will be having special home state quota rank.

Most of the faculty here at sastra are great. They are highly knowledgeable, friendly, always willing to teach, supportive. They will even be ready to teach u things beyond the subject if u are interested. Many of the faculty will be doing some projects,researches and so many things. The lab facilities here are great, so there is no limit for faculty to work there. Interaction with faculty is something that faculty is always interested in. If the students are interested then they can learn anything from any faculty out of their own field.
