Its one of the dream college where equal preference is given along with studies to all different area where students are interested in it. Hard work is always recognized and appreciation is given based on any good activities by students.

Alva's is well known for its traditional and cultural activities along with sports and studies. It also focuses on the betterment of future of all students. People from various states come together as one and work hard to get recognized in college. It is one for reknown college in Karnataka with well built infrastructure. Proud to be student of this unviresity.

We have our college library along with online book management system and our lectures are highly trained as they prefer studies has no limit they share notes using social media and try to explain through video classes and give notes and digital copies of class.

Yes, our college provides internship but it is a paid internship, where experts are called and internship is provided on students interested areas. It might also go on up to 6months to complete the internship.

Placement and job opportunities are good compared to other engineering colleges in the region. The good number of students got placed in college last times, this time also IBM, EVY, Valtech, TVM, TCS etc had visited our campus to hire students and till now around 70 students have been placed.

Events that take place in Alvas are Nudisiri, Hackathon, Traditional day, Sports meet, Independence day, Karnataka Rajyostava, Speaker talk, Club meet, Motivational talk, Head of Department(HOD) talk, students coordination talk, personality development training etc.

The fee structure is feasible and students admitted with merit and sports kota gets really lets fee to pay compared to other regular students. Depending upon branch your admitted fee varies there is five branch in Alva's(AIET) which is Computer science and engineering, Electronics, civil, mech, IS engineering.

College provides the various scholarship to merit students and high scorer. The loan is provided by student performance in previous years.

The campus is well situated far from the city it's completely pollution free and best to live in it filled with greenery. It is completely anti-ragging campus, where all students come together as one no gender difference is considered all are treated equally. Hackathon is organized every year and various level sports meet takes place and students from here win prizes every year. Labs are well maintained and its completely air-conditioned. Extracurricular activities like group discussion, debt, industrial visit so on is also part of academics.

We have one of the best food courts in which around 5 other different hotels are present. Veg and non-veg sections are different both mess and hostel facilities are clean and well maintained. Hotel rooms are allocated for 2 or 3 students in a room with high-speed wifi. Students can be seated in the food court during free hours and access college wifi anytime.

All the alumni meet is kept once in the year. All the placed students and students who become an entrepreneur from our college are made to share their experience to juniors and asked to suggest about current market and technologies. And a brief view of the outer world.

Our university comes under VTU, Belgavi. All the exam structure and pattern is decided by VTU. There are hundreds of university that comes under VTU it is one the well-known board in our country recognized by the government of Delhi, India. During placement, the online mode exam is taken and VTU exam paper is written the exam which is of 3hr.

After my 12th I had written Karnataka CET entrance exam in which your 10th, 12th and marks of entrance exam is considered and validated to get good engineering college within the state for students studying in Karnataka. I had selected Alvas as the first college in my option. The first college which I got was Alvas as I had preferred. And today I study here and I'm really happy about it.

Faculties are always available to help students we are allowed to meet them directly in their respective cabin or in class. We can also be in contact through phone and social media is preferred in case of emergency. Students can also go to the Head of Department and meet respective faculty.
