Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The university should also focus on field practice because in law field practice is important. Students can't just go for bookish knowledge in law field. 1.5 hr for 50 marks but maybe the marking of the questions is not valid for the time they are providing. We have to attempt 8 questions (2,3,4,6,6,9,8,12) 3 hr for 100 marks - 10 questions (2,4,6,9,10,12,15,15,18)

Placement Experience

2.5

If it's 5 years course than from 8th sem or 9th sem. Every course have different companies which appears for placement. A average student can eligible for placement. My plans after getting the degree is to opt for LLM from different university or College and Practice.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is 1 lakhs 10 thousand for 5 years (2021-2026) BALLB (Hons) course. Now the fees is increased. Debarred fee is Rs.1800/- per subject The re examination fees is Rs.500/- per subject Total Rs. 2300/- per subject. I don't know much about scholarship and University doesn't even talk about it.

Campus Life

3

The university organisation unifest, farewell, the separate celebration for foreign students, etc. The law library of Galgotias University is good. One can find the relevant books easily. There was a sport event of different batch and different courses.

Admission

50% eligibility One can find the application form on online website of Galgotias University. But there is no refund of the application form and once u pay the fees it's is too difficult to take refund it back. There is no entrence exam in Galgotias University to take admission. The marksheet is enough for the admission and if u score less than 50% the one can talk and take admission in different course.

Faculty

3.5

Lack of facilities and tons of students. 1 teacher is teaching 4/5 subjects. Example :- There is a faculty who is teaching 3 subjects in my class, I don't know about other course she is handling. But there is a lot of pressure on facilities and this is somehow effecting the students. Students can approach the faculty and interact with them.

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

Pre-placement starts from the 4th year, and post-placement also happens as those who remain to get any placements are also assisted. Law jobs are always less so the percentage of students getting jobs is also quite low, as the batch size is 80+

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year
