- Firstly,I would like to share my experience regarding the college campus.
- To knowledge park 2 metro station so we can easily travel back to our hostels or any other place.
- Faculty very humble and helpful. they always guide us while doing the experiments and the lab are well equipped with good experimental apparatus
Dislikes
- In the current scenario,we are facing a lot of problems due to heat wave. so the thing that I disliked the most is the non-ac classrooms.
- I would also request the college management to maintain the washrooms and water taps as it becomes very conjusted due to small washrooms
- So it becomes difficult to attend the classes without AC. as the strength of the classes are quite good so it feels very hot inside the classes
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good as we all know we have 5 units in each subject per semester in first year so we have about 60 lectures per subject per semester so we get a good time to cover each unit in detail with quite good practice and we have 2 sessionals per semester which help us to revise the chapters more efficiently and easily
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for the place from the 6th semester of their BTech course. the companies that visit our college for the placements are Wipro, AWS and other reputed MNCs. the highest package is around 40 lpa from our college and the average package is around 5.5 -6 lpa and around 85% of students are getting placed from our college about 2500 offers were made for the year 2023 and my future plans are to get a master's degree from a reputed college and then apply for a good job in a reputed MNCs
Fees and Financial Aid
As I have noticed that in the greater noida region our college is having quite affordable fees with good facilities and also students get fee waiver through up scholarship and jee ranking which makes it affordable for many of us but still I would like to request the college management to install air conditioner in each class as we are paying a quite good amount of fees so we need such basic facilities
Campus Life
Our college organises many fests like unifest which is very famous in the whole NCR..this time we got the opportunity to witness concerts of legendary singer Javed Ali and Akhil Sachdeva. we enjoyed a lot also in the past few months we had hackathons, club carnival where the various college clubs organised various events like prom night, rangmanch, cricket tournaments etc and we have many workshops and events regarding our streams where various mentors guide us regarding our streams
Admission
I have got my admission through aktu counselling so I am not that aware of direct admissions but as I have seen the college takes admissions through both aktu counselling and direct admissions also where 85 per cent of seats are allocated for aktu counselling students and the remaining through direct admissions and you can check the fee structure and other details on the official website of Galgotias college of engineering and technology
Faculty
The faculties are very good and humble. majority of them are well educated regarding their individual subjects. they provide us various assignments and quizzes so that we can practice our chapters more efficiently and some of them also give class tests which help us to revise the chapters more easily and frequently
