Good college gives a good future

My college just needs to find a good infrastructure for itself and for the student because it makes confidence in students.

I opted MSU for my further studies because firstly it is a very good college for studies and has a very great reputation also and secondly it is a government college so comparatively fees is also very less. Before selecting this college I made a research on it about college environment, teachers, facilities, study material and all, and I was satisfied from its results that's why I opted for Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda.

As I have opted for b.com honors with specialization of human resource, before making decision to take admission in this college I have done some research on course curriculum that is this course is for three years respectively and there is semester wise system, each year has two semesters so in first year's first semester there will be 8-9 subjects and in second semester there will be 9 subjects; in second year,first and second both semester will have 8 subjects but in the second year we have to choose our specialization course compulsorily; in the third year, the first semester will be having 9-10 subjects and the second semester will have 12 subjects. There are some vocational courses which we have to choose according to the semester. There can be changed in the course curriculum as per faculties want.

No, our college does not provide any internship offers but yes there is a mandatory rule that after completion of the second year the students have to do an internship by there own for 15-20 days approximately and this internship must be according to our respective specialization subject. After completing the internship we have to submit reports according to the faculties want.

Placements of our course are not so good. Mostly Students are not bothered just because of this only that placements are not good. Companies like IPCA laboratories, I&T company and etc (company remains change in every year), come and give packages like Rs.25000-35000/- approx only.

There are many fest and events which are conducted from writing competition to sports events. But before applying for this, there is a group type which organizes all these activities and only that member can participate who have the membership of that group and forgetting membership we have to pay something Rs.1500/- which includes all events throughout that year. Events like samanvay, sports events, writing competitions, crafting and decorating, cooking, annual function, farewell party, freshers party, colourful days, picnic. all these are the events which are conducted.

As it is the government college so the fees structure is very feasible to the students and their parents too. Fees of all the courses are very less as compared to doing private courses. Mainly fees structure are of five digits only and the fees for my course is Rs.22000/-. But some courses like fashion designing has high fees i.e Rs.100000 something.

No there is no scholarship system for anyone. As it already a government college and fees is also very low that's why there is no scholarship system.

All are treated as same. Campus life is amazing. There is no gender ratio and diversity. Our faculty treats each one of us equally and fairly so there is no gender ratio. The campus is small not too much big, not too much small but nice and very peaceful .each building has plants and trees.

Exams are very hectic because in the exam schedule every time there are no holidays even in external exams also not even in main subjects like accounts and taxation, etc. Labs(computer lab) are also not good.we have to always make adjustments. Internal exams are conducted for just 1 hour for each subject and external exams are conducted for 2 hours only but as now we are experienced so now we are a little comfortable in it.

Firstly we have to create an ID from the University's portal I.e www.msubaroda.ac.in and have to fill up all the details in it and save it then registration fees whichever course we are applying for will be charged as per the respective course and online payment should be made. After payment, the receipt will be generated and details regarding admission dates will be shown in it and if not then on email id University faculty will send notice according to them. According to the 12th standard percentage we were called out on different days. There the faculty checks all my details which were I had filled in my ID that they are right or not, after all the checking part was done I got the admission. For making admission permanent for the college years we have to pay college fees which were Rs.21500/- approximately. After making payment, admission was final and on email id, college starting dates were emailed. This is the admission procedure of MSU.

Faculty of this college is really good and highly educated and understandable. Teachers are very supportive and have a very sharp vision of teaching goals. They teach us limited but covers all the part of there subject and general knowledge also which sometimes is not in the course. If any teacher is on leave they make sure that they have to inform us before that to not wait for that teacher on that day. Teachers of my faculty are very familiar and that makes them worth full teachers.
