VIT vellore offers high placement rate with many students recieving offers before they graduate. 904 companies visited the campus for placements which recruited 14345 no. of students. The average CTC was 9.23 LAKH per annum.Total no. off super dream offers [ above 10 Lakh] were4461 and dream offers were 3453. Mass recruiters like TCS, wipro and infosys do hire the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
VIT conducts its own entrance examination called VITEEE. Top viteee rank holders are eligible for several tution fees waivers like.. rank 1-50; 75 % tution fees is waived 51-100; 50% waived 101 -1000 25 % waived It facilitates various goverment scholarships like Central sector scholarship and AICTE . GATE scolarships for PG students.

VIT holds grand fests like GRAVITAS- TECH FEST and RIVIERA - CULTURAL FEST. The campus itself has a grand library open for students with no. of books from various authors. Various clubs like theatre ,dance ,music, are also there.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel consists of varius room categories like.. AC and NON AC 2,3,4,6,8 bedded rooms. rooms are equipped with required furnitures like seperates tables and beds. Registration process is online through the website once after you pay the tution fess..you will get notified.
Admission
VIT conducts is own entrance examination VITEEE. Students have to fill the application form after its avaialable on official website www.vit.ac.in. the exam consists subjects Physics,Chemistry, Maths or Biology , Mental Ability and english. no caste based reservations are involoved. Students are oofered various courses on basis of their raks in VITEEE. Duration of exam is 2hours 30 minutes and consists of 125 quesions.
