Good to study

The college would be a great choice on the basis of academics but the rules and regulations of the college were mostly hated.

I opted out for this college after knowing on its placements but it's not as expected. The placement records decreased from the level that it was when I joined the college 4 years ago. Even though service based companies recruited 90% of the students in the college.

The courses and curriculum were great and every course was beneficial to the students but they don't go up to the advanced level. The courses were prepared with having the students in the mind. But it would be much greater if every course was taught much into advanced level.

No, our college doesn't provide any internship opportunities but they are encouraging the students to go out for internships.

The placements were good but not much good as before. The placement percentage when I got into the college was 95 but this year it's only 85.the placements are degrading. And the placed students are mostly placed on service-based companies. There were only two to three product based companies.

There are four main events in our college every year. The legacy which is an inter-college cultural meet. Secondly, the FIESTA which is an intra college cultural fest. The RADIX which is conducted only for the school students. The GyanMitra which the technical fest for all the departments.

Looking into the fee structure, it's a bit high than other colleges. But looking it as a self-financing college the fee structure is right. Mostly the fee structure would 90K and 50k for hostels. There would not be any other fees collected other than this.

The college management will provide merit scholarships every year for the students under different categories. If the cgpa is above 9.5,45K and less on lower cgpas.

The campus life would be not much interesting as on the others as they would force the students to concentrate on the academics neglecting the extracurricular activities. The lab facilities were great. Sports will not be given much importance. Competitions were encouraged periodically.

The hostel facilities and mess food were really great. The food is really hygienic and good. Compared to the other colleges the food is really good. There would be no issues about the hostel. But the thing is mobile phones were banned even inside the hostel.

The alumni meet will be conducted occasionally but they are connected in no way to the students. They were not of much help.

The exam structure is great. They were much concerned about the exam and the scores. They were also sincere on the evaluation criterion. But the question paper was simple all the times so every student would get a great score easily. They should consider work on the toughness of the question papers.

I got my admission in this college through TNEA counseling. I had a cutoff score of 192 in which I scored 194,192 and 189 at the three core subjects at the final higher secondary examination. It's not so tough to get into this college but one has to put up some work to get into.

The faculty was really great and helpful to the students. The faculties have a great knowledge on the subject matters and always ready to help out the students. They were also encouraging the students to go beyond the horizon. They are good and great.
