My Personel Experience at BMSCE.

The course which i chose is a combination of artificial intelligence and data science which is two most famous on going trends in the industry.The curriculum is pretty good as the subjects are very relavant with the course name, we get to have some experts who are working in this field cross checking the curriculum so that it helps us in real life applications.I would suggest for a more effective teaching methods as professors are not well trained in teaching.Every month one internals exam will be conducted, total 3 internals, best 2 out of 3 exams will be comsidered for total grading along with assignments,labs and sem end examination.

Three ways of admission to this college is possible,2 ways are by writing the entrance test kcet and comedk, other way is via management.Kcet fees is 90k-1L per year, comedk is around 2.5L per year, management is around 7L per year.There is a scholorship cell avaialble in college which helps you find scholorships in college.Scholorships like ssp,colgate, reliance etc are some of the many scholarships which are being provided.

Two major fests are conducted in college,the cultural fest called as utsav is hosted during May month of every year, students can volunteer in main stage events as well as many other active clubs which hosts events during fest time to engage students from various colleges with entrance free of cost.The other major event being the technical fest called as phaseshift conducted in the month of november where students activily participate in many events which are having tech themes.Both the events are conducted for 3 days with no classes going on in parallel.The smart boards are used in majority of the classrooms with central ac in every classroom for almost all departments of ug.The sports and other extracurricular activities club are active and open for freshers to join them.Students run every club and events done in college, with some faculity overlooking on them.These clubs help students in alot of ways.

I got admitted to college through Karanataka Common Entrance Test(KCET).I got a rank off 3300 to get admission in the college, cutoff for general was 3500 and obc was 3800, cutoff list can be found in many youtube channels and official kcet website.50% reservation for general and rest will be divided among other catagories.The difficulty of exams are easy-medium, frequency is 1month and varies according to the year you are studying in.I didnt face any issues during admission,It was a very simple and easy method for admission.

The faculty to student ratio is good.We get a proctor who keeps track of our activities and marks, guidance will be provided for people in need of it.Faculty are highly educated professionals and guide us personally.We can meet faculty when ever we want to, they are freindly and free to be approched in college hours.There will be no special interaction sessions with facuilty but you can meet them personally.
