Likes
- The teachers are really sweet and supportive. They teach really well, plus be really understanding. Specially the teachers of B.com department are amazing. Our Head of the department is really supportive.
- The decoram of the campus is great, I really love the fests our college organises, specially Aura, it is one of the most amazing fest of Isabella Thoburn college. It gives students a chance to show their talents in each different way.
- The campus is beautiful, there is A lot of greenery, we're always close to nature, it has huge grounds with grass everywhere, a basket ball court, and a huge backstage. All over the college is really beautiful and gives really aesthetic vintage vibes
Dislikes
- The canteen should have different varieties, it lacks a lot of varieties like basic, coffee, or preserved juices or milkshakes, or maggie. Many other things. It's hard for students to fetch different places to eat instead of eating in the canteen.
- The Washrooms sometimes do not have water, and are really dirty specially the one behing parking near back stage. That needs A lot of attention..
Course Curriculum Overview
B.com has one of the best scope in India. Isabella Thoburn college, Lucknow affiliated from Lucknow University has has really amazing course designed. We have total 36 subjects for three years, and 6 semesters. Subjects keeps changing every semester which gives us a chance to learn different things every six month. It gives us opportunity to choose whatever course we want for our Masters.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available, from corporates such as MNC, Acmegrade, it provides internships in companies like WIPRO, LearnX, Amazon and Etc. It provides internships for many domains such as, Cyber security, Finance, Artificial intelligence, Human resources, Marketing and much more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year our fees is increased 500/- The complete cost of my education is around 78000/- Internships from Acmegrade and MNC are available from 3rd year onwards.. I haven't begun any internship yet, but I got an opportunity of 2 months which costs 3500/- and next month internship in companies like Amazon with stipends around 10000 and any domain you want.
Campus Life
There are many fests, starting from january and goes on in the breaks of 1-2 month, fests like Rangmanch, cultural fests, Cantata, Aura, children day fest, sports day, inter college competitions and much more.. The Library provides great amount of books, related to our course, motivational, knowledgeable and fictional too.. If talking about sports our college provides a lot of options, Throwball, volleyball, basketball, cricket, badminton, shot put, races, tug of war and etc. Along with that campus celebrates environmental day by planting trees in the campus where students and teachers together plant trees...
Admission
The eligibility of courses are above 50% secured in 12th. The application form and details are available on the college website.. Exams occur every six months, written in Odd and MCQs in Even sem.. The difficulty level is medium and keeps changing.
Faculty
Our teachers are great, we're able to approach them how ever we want, some times I have queries and I message them, I get quick response. The faculty members are really supportive, the teachers are not so strict and I feel that is what makes them one of the best, we can easily ask them our doubts without the fear of getting scolded by them.. They provide great mentorship and treat their students with love. I am grateful for having such teachers..
