A day in the life of a Sathyabamite

The computer science engineering course offered by sathyabama covers all the important aspects that one needs to learn to be able to survive in the outside world as a computer science engineering Each semester covers a new programming language and enough practice is provided to the student during this period to be able to be well versed in the given programming language Relevant topics are selected for the syllabus and any outdated topics are omitted But more application of practical usage is required rather than focusing on the theoretical part as our course is entirely dependent on application There's two internal exams that are conducted once in a month Enough time is present to be able to prepare for these exams This is then followed by model practicals ,end sem practicals and finally the end sem theory papers

The fee honestly fluctuates each year depending on the demand for the course and the number of students applying for it As a 2023-27 batch student , the fee for one year is 3,50,000 rupees and this is only tuition fee Hostel fee is an additional 1,00,000 for non ac rooms and 2,00,000 for ac rooms Mess fees also applies if you are a hostel student Sathyabama also conducts an entrance exam called SAEEE which provides a scholarship to students Management seats are also provided As i have just finished my first year, i have no applied for any internships yet But the college does provide a lot of opportunities in the form of workshops and courses for the students to attend and benefit from

There's an annual fest held in sathyabama that happens usually during the months of January or February The library is well equipped with books from all genres and books from every author for various subjects are available for one to use However there is no AC facility in the library which makes it uncomfortable to use during the afternoon heat Classrooms are basic, there's a green board that the teachers use and a pc with a projector which the faculty rarely uses There are many clubs run by students and campaigns take part often and it gives the students a good exposure and helps with their resume

anyone with above 75% is eligible for the course in sathyabama application form will be provided directly when you go to the admin block of the college and you are asked to pay a fee (if you go for a management seat) this fee should be paid in the time given by them otherwise seat will not be given The thing you cannot avoid is the first come first serve basis If you go for a seat towards the end,chances of you not getting it are very high The difficulty of the exams are moderate, one can easily attain the pass mark and clear all the exams without getting an arrear The admission process should be fair for the the middle class and should not be biased based on the influence one has

The faculty in sathyabama actually do a really good job in making sure the student understands the concepts and is able to clear all his/her exams without any hassle Although the student to faculty ratio is really high,the faculty does make sure to provide all the important notes and questions and manages to finish the portions on time. The faculty is very approachable as you can always visit the faculty cabin in case you have any doubts to be clarified or you can also stay back after college They often reply to texts and any doubts sent there is clarified as well
