Remarks

The college management is pretty decent. Not bad or great. The faculty is however top class and really good with the students.

Entrance Preview

The class 12 board examinations result is the entrance route. The college keeps a certain cut off marks as well as a minimum mark requirement for the listed subjects to be studied.

Internships Opportunities

Tata Consultancy Services and Cognizant are two common companies of placements or internship. Stipend is a subject I am unaware of as of now. The internship experience have been really fun and satisfying as per the seniors who have gone into it.

Placement Experience

Pretty amazing given that the placements are all in amazing companies and institutes. They range from usually really top notch brands like Tata Consultancy Services, Congnizant,ICICI etc.

College Events

The college participates in most fests that take place in the city. It also brings in big pageant names for audition purposes to help students reach their goals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is really inexpensive. Rs 6500 for a year and about Rs.700 for board examination each year. Thus the structure is as inexpensive as inexpensive gets.

No scholarship I know of in this college. And therefore I really cannot exaggerate on it. But I will surely upgrade when I do get to know more about it.

There are loads of extracurricular activities that is both celebrated within the grounds of the college and outside. From extensive computer training to sports events outside.

No hostel facility available. However there are plenty of paying guest homes that are reasonable to expensive monetary wise.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are really welcoming and give the juniors their space. They help the juniors as and when required. Especially when students enter the college in the beginning.

Exam Structure

Exams are as per requirement. One assesent a year a college exam a year and a board or university exam a year.

Faculty

The faculty is one of the best especially the Commerce department. They help out with projects,academics and festivals. They also help out students on their life in general over important issues.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
