- There are not sufficient no. of hostels for students
- Girls hostel have different and unfair rules as compared to boys hsotels
- Campus is too small, not like other NITs
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum seems perfect to me since we have the major subjects of the course in the early years which makes it easier for us to gain enough knowledge in further years to serve the nation and become succesful.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite affordable and diffrent scholarships are also available for students . Students with income of less than 1 lakh need not to pay the tuition fee too which is really a good thing for students with poor financial background
Campus Life
The campus life over here is pretty awesome though the campus is small you can still have so much fun and the events conducted here are huge , technical events like aavartan, and events by Raaga - Shruthi , and biggest event sanskriti and all its awesome
Admission
As with any other admission process, this also has reservations for students of different categories, students who have qualified Jee mains with sufficient rank are eligible for the course. Jee mains are conducted twice a year and 6 lakh students on an average give this test
Faculty
I am from metallurgy department , so I can tell you about our faculty . Faculty members in this department are the best atleast I think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge. Our lectures possess higher degrees (PhD) and they are really good at their particular subject . They help us carve out way to success in which ever domain we show our interest .
