A holistic review of College life, Academics and Hostel.

I chose AI and Data Science as my branch due to its current popularity and promising career prospects. The curriculum effectively covers topics related to the branch. CIEs are conducted with gap of every month but we have well-timed study breaks for SEEs.

Companies visited our college, extending offers to a total of 998 students across UG,PG,MCA programs. Companies like Nutanix, Amazon, Bosch, Cohesity visited our campus. In 2023, approximately 62 percent of students secured placements.

The tution fee increase policy at our college is stable with no regular hikes. The per annum cost of my education including tution fees and other charges is around 2.5 lacs as I am a COMED-K student. There are few scholarship and financial aid options available for students.

Fests: Utsav is the cultural fest typically held around May, while Phaseshift is the technical fest held around November. Library Resources: The library offers an extensive collection of books covering various topics, along with an e-library providing access to e-books and e-journals. Classroom facilities: Classrooms are equippes with modern amenities like smart boards, whiteboards,blackboards, and centralised air conditioning. Sports activities: Students can engage in sports such as Kho-Kho , judo, Taekwondo and cricket fostering a healthy and active campus environment. Student clubs: There are clubs for almost every interest such a eastern and western dance, western and Indian music clubs, astronomy, fine arts clubs providing students with opportunities to pursure their interests.

Room Facilities: Rooms are typically provided on a two-sharing bases with amenities such as WiFi connectivity, hot water supply, and either attached or common washrooms, which may vary depending on the hostel (Out-campus / In-campus) Meal Quality and Menu: The quality of meals is generally good, and the menu is often determined by student preferences. There's a system in place for reporting any complaints about the meals, and the administration prompty addresses and resolves them. Registration process and affordability: The registration process is quite competitive and expensive. Due to high demand, hostel vacancies are filled quickly, necessitating early admission to secure a spot.

Eligibility for the course includes passing the required cutoff in COMEDK and KCET exams. Additionally, management admission is available; for further details on this process, it is recommended to contact the college directly to get comprehensive information.

Faculty to student ratio is 70 students to 1, allowing for personal doubt resolutions with no issues. However,for new branches, most faculty members hold MTech degrees rather than PhDs, which affects the quality of teaching. Despite this, the faculty members are friendly and approachable,making mentorship accessible.
