Best college of MP

Overall a good college with experienced faculties and decent placement ration

I opted this college because of its reputation in Madhya Pradesh. Known as the best college in MP, it provides guidance by experienced faculties with decent placement percentage. It also provides a competitive environment for students as the selection is made on the basis of JEE Mains score.

The course is somewhat similar to RGPV university curriculum but books are different. Books are mainly suggested by faculties. Course if the mixture of theory classes along with practicals. Practicals help a lot in understanding gist of the syllabus. Regular assignments keep you aware of what is happening in class.

Not really. For internships, you can always go for sites like internshala where you can get internships according to your choice and stipend as well.

Placement ratio is quite decent. Approximately all students get placed who sit for it sincerely. Package mainly ranges from 3 to 10L. Chances of getting the job into the IT sector is more when compared to the core sector. Companies from different sectors like core, IT, consultancy, data analysis etc comes.

A college fest in the month of Feb or march is there. Along with it, one or the other event keeps happening in the campus. Clubs like dance, photography, robotics, ecell etc arrange their events frequently. Sometimes for competition, sometimes just for fun.

Fee structure can be said feasible but for us, it is expensive because the college fee structure got revised recently(We got saved). Fees have increased but still feasible as it is government funded college. For few branches like IT and BM, it is higher compared to other branches. The reason you'll know after admission

Scholarships are there for students but for that, you have to regularly contact registrar office. Private organizations also provide the same.

Gender ratio will be somewhat equal to 2/3 or little less. Labs are nice as they are fully equipped with instruments. Different clubs like robotics, college magazine, photography, dance, and music conduct their events from time to time. The sports club is also there.

I don't know about boys(which is obvious) but girls hostel food is above average. Some days food is good, some days we eat water, Joking, food is likable but sometimes it creates boredom which is obvious. The mess is clean and pure vegetarian food is provided.

As it is the oldest college of MP, the alumni network is very strong. There is an alumni meet every year in the month of Dec. Having contacts with seniors is always helpful, both socially and professionally.

Exams are conducted after keeping every student in mind. It is a mix of both easy and hard questions still quite decent score can be achieved. Some surprises are always present of course which can make you go to the temple but those surprises are not frequent.

To get into this college after 12th, you need to give JEE Mains exam. On the basis of the scorecard, colleges are alloted during counseling. There are multiple rounds of upgradation where you can upgrade your college or branch whatever you wants. The college is alloted through MP vyapam counseling so you can also sit on other counsellings of different colleges and try your luck.

Faculties are the mixture of experienced and freshers. You are going to find both of them to be supportive and motivating. Lectures are interesting but again it varies student to student. Faculties are qualified and experiences still it depends on the student to make most out of it.
