Entrance Preview
I took up CET examination and chose this college though CET cell. The college is 10 kms from my place and also the college was started new when I joined and I expected enthusiastic curriculum from the college authority.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was fair enough and did justice to what was being claimed. However, there was a huge scope for improvement when it was compared with the other top colleges of its time.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship offered by the college at the time I did my graduation. But I am not sure about the current scenario. The college might be offering internship and stipend now.
Placement Experience
The placement cell was a bit rare at that time but now I know the placement cell is good and there are a lot of job opportunities being provided. Even though I was from E&C branch, the job opportunities were provided more to CS branch.
College Events
The college used to celebrate one annual event or fest. Each year, the association had a different name. The fest would be overall a great entertainer and 1 month before the annual fest, there used to be a lot of competitions being held and the prize was distributed on the fest day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was as quite expensive and the college was very strict about the fees being paid. They were not allowing students to the class if the fees was not being paid.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, There is no loan facility being offered by the college people. I do not think they offer scholarship also as far as my knowledge goes.
Campus Life
Campus life was great with good sports and extra curricular activities. Debates and seminars were also conducted often. Competitions ranged from soft skills to all the sports in place. Overall a great campus life.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility being provided. There is a college canteen available in the college campus and the canteen gives good food. Happy with the canteen food, and there are also quite a few eateries in and around the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
We had a great batch of seniors who conducted a welcome party for the juniors. We also had a great junior batch who conducted a send-off for the seniors. We have an alumni association as well to help us all stay in touch.
Exam Structure
Exam structure consisted of 3 internals which was quite the rule for VTU students. The exams were conducted based on the exact VTU standards and the college authorities sticked on to that.
Faculty
The faculty was good ranging from elder lecturers to a few bunch of lecturers who had just done their graduation. Overall, it was totally fine and they treated students like friends.
