Honest and down to earth review of Mar Agustinos collage

The field I am studying in is biotechnology. The 10th and 12th touches on this field so I got interested in this field. The field excels in combining both technology and biology together, they also implement chemistry, physics, and other subjects together with biology. The implyment of these subjects with biology is what forced me to select this subject. These subjects introduced many things, the most influential and famous one was the COVID-19 vaccines. The biotechnologist around the world made this vaccine possible. They also make various medicines, bio-friendly fertilizers etc.

The college has a mild tuition fee which an average family can afford. The fee is paid on the first day as admission fees and other fees are done through instalments on basis on the semester. The college also provides special provisions for SC/st cast and supports them during their studies in college.

The campus life is a little on the dry side. We do have celebrations on Onam, Christmas and also have collage day. On these days we can wear colour dress and will have extracurricular activities like dances music bands, skits and other stuff but they are a little strict on the fun and have a time limit and also force strictness on the fun. They also provide monthly dances on the open stage which are done by different branches. They also have specific days for different branches. They also provide on sports and games but have few resources put into it. We have sports teams which have gone for intercollege and intercollege matches and have also debuted in college level games

Hostel facility are provided by the collage and is done outside of the campus. The hostel also have various fee such as admision fees and mess bill which is doen in mess way. Hostel also provides designated rooms which provides with bed and tabel and shelfs. The room is spacious and ventelated. They also provide designated spots for studying. Hostel also have a worden which imposes various rules and regulations. The hostel provides us with very nutritious food and also as a stict time table of food order

The eligibility was that the student should passed the 10th and 12th with above-average marks. The application forms and other details can be found in their official website. After application the students should have person to person meet with the principal and branch faculty members and have an interview with them after that we have to pay the admission fee and the students will be informed about the class starting and other campus instructions

The branch I study is biotechnology the and faculty members include seven teachers and one lab technician. The teachers all have various achivements on this branch one teacher even has doctrate on biotechnology. They also have 10plus years on teaching on this subject. They have high knowledge and experience on this subject. We have several chances on interaction because we have only 16 students so the teachers can help us personally and we can interact with them personally. They also help in our own independent ideas and advice them on our way to acomplish these ideas. The lab technician also have experience in this field and help us during our time in the lab. The teachers also provide us with various materials in this field of study
