Overview of SATHYABAMA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

I have opted for B.Tech information techonology because sathyabama is dfamous for computer science studies and provide best placements . The syllabus is medium hard , need to put some effort to score good marks and college will provide the best study material to study and library is there for students to reffer the books. Exams , there will be three exams in one semester , two internals exams and one end semestr exam which are bit though . marks will be calculated combineing both (cae) and end semester .

students who have done projects will get an internship easily and placed easily , companies take students with skills more than students with cgpa . as the college is located in between IT companies a large amount of compannies will take students for internship and when comes to stipend it is based on skills like the starting will be 8k to 12k and more . teachers will help students to do their projects as well if the project will good college will fund more to develop the projects .

pacements are better than students think but also depends upon student intrest and skills , the average of 3LPA will give provided and mostly cse and IT students get placed . college will also provide internships for students from 3rd year and placement classes will be taken for students to crack the placements . workshop will be conducted for every department students , no charges will taken . college also has 30+ clubs and NCC .

BE degree costs more fee , cse starts with 350000 as starting and increase upto 450000 , if student opt for specilication course it starts with 400000 and goes to 500000. B.Tech IT : 300000 B PHARM, BIO TECH :275000 ECE : 200000 MBA : 250000 ARCH , LLB:250000 MECH , EEE, CIVIL: 150000 B COM , BBA : 125000 Entrance will be conducted (sistjee) scholarships will be given based on the entrance marks . college also has sports quota (only for national level students).

Mostly enjoyable and good place to make your future , college life goes like studies with fun and olace to make good bonds comming to library , it has more than 5000 books , all the students have access to the library and free wifi will be provided for the students . sports event will be conducted once a year and students in sports club can go to other college sports events students can create their own club and can also join existing clubs .

For students those who opt for BE must score 70% in their 12 boards and more than 70% in physics , math and chemistary. onliine application is avaliable and offline admissions will be given in college admission block only on time admission and admission form will cost 1200/- Rs . noo donation will be taken admission starts from from the month of April and goes till july. If ur planning to join this college then go as soon as earlier . For B.BOM and BBA full day college will be there , my poit of view it is not good for b.com and bba students . College Bus is free for students so no transport problem.

The student and faculty ratio is 1:40 , but college have experienced faculty will take care off all the students , Teachers are soo friendly and intractive with students . this also depends on the students behaviour towards the teachers .
