College give us bengali cultural vibes..
Visva Bharti's university library is very large.
This college has APVB which helped students.

Dislikes

The college has very slow administration process.
In hostel mostly warden are the teachers.
The boys hostel are very dirty and no-one maintain it.

Course Curriculum Overview

In first semester the syllabus was Introduction to Archaeology, iconography and Indian and Britishers historian approach to Indian history. Archaeology was good but other was like baaic. But in second semester the syllabus is different approach to Archaeology, museum studies. These both are very interesting to me.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 6024 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

While taking addmission in visva bharti university when fee option came it was just 6024 rupees only. The scholarship are available but is has some conditions. The college does not provide the any placement but give opportunity to different internship.

Campus Life

In visva bharti university there are many festivals which show the bengali cultural like rabindrautsav,basant utsav, halakarshana etc. The library is very large and has AC surrounded reading area for students.All classroom have smart board.

Admission

To take addmission in visva bharti university give the CUET (Common University Entrance Test).For Archaeology you need to give G.T and history exam. If you are OBC or SC,ST then you can take reservations benefits. For entrance exam is syllabus is 12th based and for GT has general knowledge. you need to choose area for examination. After result announced fill the form for your college.

Anil Kumar - He is expert in Buddhist studies and stupas, when he teaches the different caste of india then it turn into deeper level. Sarita khettry - She taught us vedas, Upanishads and their classifications. Suchira Roychoudhury - She is teaching us Archaeology. Sujata rakshit - She taught us Indian iconography. Suken Shah - He is first teacher who gave us foundation of Archaeology.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

I chose VBU over other colleges because of its peaceful campus, strong language programmes and unique academic environment inspired by Rabindranath tagore's vision. I had also applied to JNU and EFLU, but after careful comparison I found VBU more aligned with my learning style and personal goals. The UNIVERSITY offers a more focused and supportive setting with smaller class sizes and close student-teacher interaction which is ideal for studying a language like Japanese. The admission process was conducted through the CUET( COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST) . The eligibilty was 10+2 with a valid CUET score. For Japanese VBU considers marks of either ENGLISH or GENERAL TEST whichever you get higher marks in.
