Remarks

Overall the college is very good. With the semester system in place, the classes are held regularly which is very helpful for a student's development in a particular subject. In other areas, the college proves to be good.

Entrance Preview

I wanted to pursue my bachelor in sciences from ddun only from a government college of good reputation which provided good education and is economical because I also wanted to prepare for defense which I wanted as a career. Here I could pursue both my b.sc as well as prepare for my exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum of the college was very vast till 2017. Last year some of the courses were shifted from the semi-government to the private SGRR. The college now contains bachelor and masters in sciences in physics, maths, geology, and chemistry and bachelor and masters in arts in various subjects. The course contains almost all the topics related to the subject and is very thorough. The books and teachers provide very deep knowledge about the subject is very helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does not provide internship to the bachelor course students and there is a little scope of training for the masters training who can train under their department teachers while they are doing their masters in a particular subject.

Placement Experience

2

The college did not offer placement to the students at first. Some companies like ISON and SPANKO visit the college and provide jobs to the students. In particular, there are not much job opportunities. All that the students have to do is to prepare for competition and make way for their fruitful career. One thing college offers is good leadership skills because the election takes place annually and the students who want to get involved in student politics get a very good platform.

College Events

4

The events celebrated in the college are many. The college session starts with the election in which the college students elect student union which addresses the student's concerns. The next is the fresher's party which is organized by the students union and is very fun. Meanwhile, there is intercollege sports tournament which is there for which the team is selected every year from amongst the students. Students performing well in the tournament are then also called for the zonal as well as national tournaments which is a very good platform for the sports aspirants. The annual function almost marks the ending of the session and it is a three-day program celebrated as a festival in the college.in every function, students participate with full energy. The college also consists of NCC which is very good for the students wanting to join defense field.it also consists of NSS which offers various camps to the students to visit other colleges and work as well as enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is very feasible. It being a semi-government college the yearly fees is very nominal as compared to private institutions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college runs only a single scholarship program named as inspire programme which nullifies the fees the student has to pay and in addition, the student also gets some money to take care of his expenses. For someone to get this scholarship you have to score well in your intermediate.

Campus Life

4

The life of the college is very good. The building maybe not that big of the college but the whole campus is very big and consists of the sports ground, labs, sports courts, libraries, and canteen. Competitions like sports, debated, quiz, rangoli, etc keep happening all of the years and encourage huge participation. The gender ratio of the college is very good with girls dominating the college population which is a very proud thing for all students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Although I have not lived in the hostel of the college i have got some chances to visit the hostel and taste the mess food. The hostel facilities are very good but the mess quality is not very satisfying. The food there doesn't taste worth eating and the same has sometimes complained. The hostel facilities including the bedding, the bathrooms, water, electricity, cleanliness facilities etc are up to the mark and carry a very good standard.

Alumni/Alumna

Although the senior students of the college are not that much connected with the college and the staff at the students level the seniors are very courteous and are always ready to talk and willing to help be it their field of any other matter relating to the college. I myself have been taking help from the senior student who has opted the same career in which I want to go.

Exam Structure

The exam before 2015 used to be held annually but now the pattern has changed and it has been replaced by the semester system of examinations which started happening every half yearly. At first, exams used to be held only once and the student had to prepare only once a year but now in a semester of 6 months, 2 times internal and 1 time external are held. Now the students have to study throughout the year which is very helpful to them.

Admission

For admission to the college first, you had to fill an offline merit cum registration form which you can fill online now. The college has specified a time limit between which you can fill the registration form. After that, the merit lists come on the college site. Those who make it to the merit are called along with the documents to the college for admission. If some seats are vacant after the first merit then the college releases the second merit and so on.

Faculty

3

The faculty of the college is very much experienced and well-educated and possess very high educational qualifications. Some of the faculty involve themselves very thoroughly with the students while some subject teachers don't spend much time with the students and the syllabus sometimes remains incomplete. Classes sometimes are not properly held and students have to rush here and there to search teachers to take classes. The faculty could have been better which would help the students building a good career in their particular field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of my relative told me that this course have large scope, and bright future so my brother applied for this course and i did this course and now i realised that it is good but they do not provide placement we only rely on our own. I think college should conduct sessional exam on time and the external exam should be conducted in 6th month. Exam are not much difficult.. they are moderate level.

The course curriculum at MBPG college covers all the core science subjects with basic practicals but you need to have extra skills if you want to learn more. Also the curriculum is bit theoretical and but practical too.

Ours is a government based program as many things comes in Aeronautics but ours is related to defense and therefore defense manufacturing names like BEML, BEL, and HAL are the top names where students of BSC (Aeronautics) in GEU will be placed.

I can name some companies with whom our college does have made tie-ups but since none has been placed as we will be the first one to be placed, it would be inappropriate to answer this question. Still, ISRO to DRDO are the organisations for which our course is Inclined.

I chose this course because I had a science background in 12 th and I am especially interested in Botany and zoology, which are also helpful for preparing for NEET and other competitive exam.the curriculum is useful for basic scientific understanding and future studies, but the college needs better lab facilities and more prectical instrument so students can gain proper hands on experience.the exam pattern is balanced, with some portions being easy and some difficult, while internal exam are generally moderate and depends on the students preparations

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite good and easy to understand. Among all the subjects, I like Chemistry the most, and topics related to transition elements are my strong area. This subject increased my interest in the course and helped me understand concepts more clearly. I chose this course because I want to make my career in the teaching field, and the syllabus provides a decent theoretical base for that. However, this course is not very helpful in terms of jobs, internships, or skill development, as there are limited job opportunities after completion. There is scope for improvement in teaching methods, such as more interactive and practical-based learning. Exams are conducted twice a year on a semester basis, every six months. The exam pattern is manageable, and the difficulty level of the papers is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.
