As I choose the course of diploma in mechanical engineering. This branch is evergreen an has not seen downfall or recession in so many years . Besides in this field employment rate is also high. If we talk about the improvement in teaching of this course the more importance should be given to practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge. Number of industrial visits should be increased , as this leads to direct communication of students with real time industrial working professional. They can get information about the new age machines an can get knowledge that how the industry works in real world . If talk about the exams the time of exams is good an enough to prepare for syllabus.

Placements for students are getting better as the time is passing. Many local companies approach the college for placements. As the students are eligible for placements after 4th semester or second year . The number of students get placed in this time duration. Some of the companies when I was studying in this college visited were JCB , Honeycomb, Cummins etc for mechanical an civil branches. The average package offered to students were minimum 2 lakhs an maximum 3.5 lakhs. Almost 60 percent students were getting placed who all were eligible. I will suggest to go for post-graduation course after this to improve your skills.

The fees of college is less as compared to other colleges for all branches an an also same for graduation courses. Scholarships are also available for students like EBC which reduces the tution fees of students an there are some scholarships which are given to hostelit students. Total cost for diploma education in this college considering all the factors can go maximum upto 60000 per year . The campus employment has become better since last year as many students are getting minimum package of 2 lakhs an maximum upto the profile of the companies.

The annual events like Technathon an Avishkar were conducted for students according to the time convenient to conduct this events. Extra curricular activities like sports were conducted in form of sports competition in which various sports were included an students participated in this sport according to their likes . Social working platforms like National Service Scheme is also available but it is only for students persuing degree

The admission process is through cap rounds . The students get eligible for diploma courses after they have passed their 10th standard . The cut-off varies from branch to branch as the cut-off for Computer branch is highest while the cut off for branches like mechanical, electrical an civil branches is moderate. If you have selected this college while filling the cap rounds form an you get this college according to cut-off. If we had 6 teachers to teach us. Only 2 of them were were having good experience of teaching. Rest of the staff was not that effective. If they don't know how to teach a particular topic they used to skip that topic very oftenly. Some of the teachers used to clear our doubts an they were good in their respective subjects. 2 to 3 teachers despite of being qualified, hadn't enough knowledge about the subject they were teaching. When ever a doubt to them related to that subject they used to avoid the questions asked by students. A student teacher relationship was also not so good because many of the times students have filed complaints about the teachers as they were not treating students from Bihar properly.
