Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose MBBS to become a doctor so as to helo people. Getting a gmc for mbbs is hell lot of hard work and that doesn't stop as we enter medical college. I would say the course is quite difficult but provides the real life practical approach to problems. We have our exams based on the proff system and hence appear for exams on yearly basis from university but internal exams are being taken of frequency of 1-2 months

Internships Opportunities

3.5

It's a government hospital so there afe no placement in MBBS course but we do have to do compulsory internship at the hospital for 1 year. We get to learn a lot as we are posted in different wards and hence we are able to learn a hell lot which will help us in our real life practice as a doctor.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for first year is ?83,600 but afterwards it is ?68,500 it has not been hiked recently. The fee difference from other medical colleges is because of the miscellaneous charges that the college take. Scholarship available as per government policy

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is good as we get access to many sports facilities like basket ball, indoor court for badminton, table tennis and also have cricket stadium and football ground. There are different cultural groups in our college which you can join such as art club, dance club, and cycling club, etc. We have our only annual fest called AAGHAZ every year around Feb or March.

Hostel Facilities

4

We get a 2 seater room with fan, beds and Mattresses provided. Meal quality is very good so much that if you love vegetables you would not consider going outside for food You can register for hostel at time of admission or afterwards if you feel so and if rooms are available.

Admission

To take admission we need a good score in NEET examination. Admission process is online via All India quota by MCI and State quita by UPDGME NEET exan is held once a year in May and the difficulty is very high due to the number of candidates.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good. Mostly the faculty's are from good government medical colleges of Delhi and hence I can say that the academic is quite good. Teachers are approachable and they even work for good intrest of the students helping weaker students and all.

The curriculum prepares us for the real time management of the patient illness. If we talk about the difficulty of the curriculum, so yes it is difficult but just it needs consistency and nothing. It prepares us for dealing with the real world by understanding the patients.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
