Course Curriculum Overview
The designed course is somewhat helpful to the future of the students. It covers almost all the fields. However, teaching those subjects can be improved by the teachers by providing more hands-on experience. The difficulty level of the exam is average as we all get less time to prepare between the semesters.
Internships Opportunities
There are really less amount of internship opportunities right now offered by the college due to the recession period and lack of jobs in the industry. L&T is one of the companies which is keen to provide internship opportunity.
Placement Experience
Student becomes eligible after 6th semester for the campus placements. There are companies like GKMIT, ARGUSOFT, APP PERFECT, INFOSYS, IN TIME TEC, HSBC, WEBINIX,L&T INFOTECH, MY WAYS AI, etc, which took part in the placements last year. highest package offered is 11 LPA. The average package would be around 5 LPA. Around 65-70% students got placed in the college placement. I am aiming for the CAT exam after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees never increase till now and as i researched well during my admission, the college keeps the tuition fee process as simple as that. The complete cost of the college fees would be around 90,750/- per semester. Though, there are multiple scholarships for different types of students, that helps those in need.
Campus Life
Due to backward mindset of college's senior authorities, there is no annual fest organised in the college. College library is well managed and have almost all kinds of journals and books. Classrooms have projector so that the teacher can teach using PDFs. Sports is like a formality for the college. There is a 3-day sports fest held every year, but other than that, neither the college authorities, nor the the teachers encourages sports during college. There are multiple student run groups like Social inclusion club, of which I am currently the vice president.
Admission
A student is eligible for the course if he/she have 75%+ marks in 10th and 60%+ in 12th. For the admission, one can either fill the form called REAP or can go directly to the college and take admission using JEE MAIN + 10th +12th marks. The admissions should be on the merit based instead of first come first serve.
Faculty
With respect to CSE department, there is a teacher for every 12-13 students. Few teachers are outstanding with respect to teaching in-class. Concept building and explaination is outstanding of few. But few teachers lack in that. They have the knowledge but they dont know how to share it, or to be precise, how to teach. We as students, can interact with the teachers anytime we want as they provide us the flexibility themselves. They are really helpful, specially the HOD, Mayank Patel sir.
