Average College

The college management is so worst. If you are a creative person, do not get into this college.

As I heard this is one of the top colleges in Karnataka, as I dreamt of such a college, I collected all the information about the college and some of my teachers, seniors suggested me to put the name of this college in the choice entry. And moreover this college is located in the capital city of Karnataka, it attracted me to get into this.

I have taken the Computer science branch in Engineering. That's a great course. But here in this college, they made it so worse that we don't even get interested to do some creative and all. Many subjects are not even related to the branch but still, we have studied them.

No, they do not provide any such internship. Even they don't support and help if we are ready to do some projects on our own.

As this college comes under the top colleges in Karnataka, companies used to come in large numbers. But this year, due to lack of creativity in the students, only a few companies had come. Accenture, LG, Infosys, Flipkart are some of the known colleges. In total, around 1300 students are placed this year.

In this, our college is top. They celebrate many events a whole year. They Celebrate fresher's day, they celebrate graduation day. They celebrate some cultural events, some classical music days. They celebrate the fests along with the sports events. Some fashion shows will also be conducted.

The fee structure is so expensive. Most expensive in all the college in Karnataka. Different fees for different quotas. Through KCET we have to pay 55,000rs to government and 40,000rs to college. Through Comedk they have to pay around 1,45,000rs. Hostel fee is 1,25,000rs.

From our college, not any scholarship and loan will be given. The government will give some scholarship, but not the college.

The campus is quite cool as it is in Banglore, in the case of climate. But the campus structure is so bad. Too small campus. The gender ratio is quite good. No extracurricular activities will be done. Labs are still in Stone age. Some sports events will be celebrated, no robotic activities neither debates are held.

The hostel is one of the worst things about this college. The fee structure is so high and without basic needs. The fee is 1,25,000rs per year and they don't provide internet connection, no mineral water, no hot water to bathe. We can just eat the mess food for 2-3 days, afterward so bad.

In that case, yeah, the seniors are so good. They are even far better than faculty. They help us, they conduct some events as well.

The worst. Due to the lack of creativity, many companies rejected to come to our college. But the management took that matter and changed the exam system this semester. They take 3 internal exams, one a month for 50 marks and 100 marks exam will be taken as external which will be converted to 50 and aggregate will be given.

The admission will be given based on the entrance exams such as KCET and Comed-k. Kcet is the state entrance exam conducted to get admission for professional courses. I got 15663 ranks in that and got the seat in this college in the first round itself.

That's the worst case about this college. No teacher will support you for your creativity which they don't have. Many, most of them don't even know their own subjects. Coding teachers write the code on the board referring to their notes. No extra work, projects will be given and supported.
