Remarks

I personally think the College should make attendance compulsory.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum as designed by Calcutta university is good but not the best. But the way the things are taught, it hardly makes any problem. The Bhawanipur Education Society College has framed its own way of teaching. Students are not harassed by the Calcutta university strict standards

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internship opportunities to deserving students. On an average student get the 10K stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunities are not best but one cannot say bad. All final year students are sent for jobs in different companies. Around 300-400 students get settled every year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc recruit from this college. The College itself recruits many of them.

College Events

4.5

Umang, the most important festival of this college known for its goodwill. Then comes crescendo, euphonious, etc etc- inter-college fests. Best aon- besc assembly of nations (besc model United Nations) is one of the well known model United Nations. Then it has intra College sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes. Compared to other government colleges, the fees are expensive. In government colleges, your full b.com course will be completed within 15K, but in The Bhawanipur Education Society College does it would cost around 1.25 lakhs. But the fees are worth paying

Fees and Financial Aid

No. College does not provide any scholarship facility. But if you are from Gujarati community, you have to pay 1/4 of what other lays.

Campus Life

5

Campus with a life- this is what people say about this college. This is the only one college in Kolkata, having gender rating 1:1. One or the other events are going on every day or every alternate day. Umang- one of the well-known festivals of the city, is organized by my college

Hostel Facilities

4.5

First, The Bhawanipur Education Society College does not provide any hostel service. The canteen is located on the ground floor, the foods and drinks are hygienic. As there is no hostel service, the point of mess food dint even arise. The College has a tie-up with red bull

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Seniors are helpful enough to cope up with studies as well as extracurricular activities. one won't feel lonely in this campus.

Exam Structure

The exam takes place in the semester system. There are six semesters for b.com(h). And it depends on subjects. Along with this, the College itself conducts different tests to show the students their position. It offers different courses-get, tally, acca, etc etc.

Admission

I hereby applied in the College by filling up the application form and application fees. Later on, after the publishing of the merit list, I was summoned by the officials. We had to present before them my documents including marksheet of +2 and class 10. After the verification, I got my id card.

Faculty

5

First of all, I won't judge any of them. But out of 10, the faculty should get 9. From b.com department everyone holds a professional degree. Either CA, CS etc or MBA. Teaching pattern is too good. The classrooms are smart classroom enabled. It motivates students.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
