Likes
- The things I liked about JNU is, it has a very big campus and good amenities. The hostels are also very good and very well maintained. The campus environment is green and eco friendly and very well maintained. Staff is also very polite & good.
Dislikes
- The things which I disliked was like, there is no good facility for outside living facilities, as the campus is lil bit in outskirts of city. There are less shops in nearby of the campus. The flats and other accomodation facility are costlier nearby.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum inside the campus is very well designed for the course. And the modules regarding the course is also very well prepared, including notes and other study materials. The exams are also scheduled in a very well designed manner. The course outcomes is very good.
Internships Opportunities
The major companies that offers internships and placements are WIPRO, WORQHAT, DELOITTE, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, BHEL, TATA, HSBC, OPTUM, CRADLEPOINT and other tech companies. Rest it all depends on student's soft skills and projects.
Placement Experience
Most probably the internships starts from 6th and 7th semester and yes placements also, sometimes students get pre placement offers in interships also. And else placements starts in 7th or 8th semester, when you get your major project.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is normal, as it is not too costly. Yes, there is scholarship also provided on the basis of percentage/cgpa of the student. Tuition fee and other service fees is also very nominal as compared to other institutions, you can easily go ahead.
Campus Life
The campus has a very big library and having a small stationary shop for all basic needs such as printouts and other stationary materials. Library is very well equipped with all basic amenities such as wifi, personal study cabins and has a E-library also.
Admission
Yes, my admission was done through application form of the institute. The application form of the institute was around 1000-1500, when I applied. Now there might be a fee increase in application form. You can check on their official website or can directly contact in admission cell.
Faculty
The student-teacher relationship is very good and attractive. The teachers are very kind, polite and helping in nature. Mentors are also very good, they keep an eye on students on their regular basis. We can directly approach teachers in college campus as well as on their contact numbers for some study related help.
Interview Experience
Yes I've passed through my Semester examinations. They are conducted in pen paper format. And the strictness during exam is very hard. Everyday there's a different staff on flying with proper regular checking. And I'D card is mandatory to wear during examination time.
