Likes
- Ips academy have good infrastructure. Campus size is big. There is large playground with many sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball court, lawn tennis court, table tennis, badminton court,volleyball, swimming, karate, horse riding, etc
- Library is big which have many types of books which student can read there in comfortable chair. The experiment lab are up. There are many workshop conduct there where student can learn abot various things. Canteen facility is also available there .
- There is area designed for students in every building where student can play, study or create project. Placement training is given like aptitude will teach in first year. Exams are held on time. Classroom are big,clean, have smartboard, chair,tables.
Dislikes
- construction of infrastructure is happening which is sometimes irritating. Some labs have old machines which doesn't work properly and sometimes they don't have equipment.
- There is only one lift and another one does not used for students. Badminton court is dirty and not hygienic. In washroom many people write which is not clear by institute.
- Placement is low due to many students are taking admission. Not provide statistics of placement. Product based company are not visiting in campus. Average ctc is low.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is well designed according to which we have chosen degeee. Many subjects are relevant according to the course and for professional world in career. Some subjects are helping in personality development. Aptitude, verbal, etc is also teach which is very helpful in many competitive examination. Because this institute is autonomous it designed its own syllabus therefore according to subject there is only useful chapters are added and don't add not beneficial chapters which makes any subject interesting and easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fess of btech computer science vary in every year but average fees is 1 lakh 26 thousand per year therefore total fees in 4 years will be above 5 lakh. If students score good in jee so he/she can do tfw in dte counselling which gives good scholarship according to score. In every semester there we have to pay exam fee form which is approximately 2 thousand to 2 thousand 500.
Campus Life
Swaranjali is cultural fest of engineering department which is held in February every year which have dance singing etc. There is also sports fest held in march where many sports are played in department. Techfest is also held. Concert where many celebrities come. Garba is play in navratri. Tech club and gdsc club are most useful Club. Ted talk ipsa and archway for blockchain introduces recently.
Admission
You must have 45 percent and above in the 12th class to take admission in the ips academy. For engineering jee is required to give. For cse more than 70 percentile in jee are necessary and for aiml, there should be more than 20 percentile should be in jee. In any other branch like ds, iot, cyber security, csit, etc. There should only jee marksheet are required. But if you have more than 40 percentile then it is easy to get admission there therfore it is safe side. If one only has a 12th percentage it is difficult to get admission but with donations some seats are reserved.
Faculty
1:60 is the ratio of faculty to student. Which helps in learning effectively. Due to every classroom have smart board teacher can teach in visual way by animation. Staff is well educated. There are some teachers which are good but some teachers which are too bad. Many teachers will help students in study and other personal problems. They understand students problem try to solve not all teachers but some good teachers. Their methodology of teaching is easy to understand if student will focus in class. In viva teacher support student which helps in personal growth. Everything thing have flaws therefore there some teachers which doesn't teach properly and also rude but still they teach according to syllabus which helps to gain knowledge.
