University college of engineering osmania university is known for its name and fame in entire Telangana as it is the top most college.on my enquiry I came know it is a good College with best faculty and facilities to become an graduate are are excellent.so choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a good College for curriculum. The sem goes in a pre-scheduled way for the academic year. It encourages us to go towards research and provides us labs with almost enough new technology equipment. Overall it's a good College for those are interested in research.
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know, our college doesn't provide any facilities for internship. There is a rule to do internship but we shoud for it outside by ourselves.
Placement Experience
Most of the students from a civil stream of this college are got settled in government jobs as I have seen from last 3 years. Besides it, the college has placement cell through which we can apply for jobs and about 80percent of students will get a placement with good packages.
College Events
Many events are conducted in this College. For civil, nirmaan is a technical symposium conducted every year in the month of March for improving skills. Many national level conference about the subject also happens. besides this other fest like amusing conducted
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a college with a fee of 10000 rs per annum which is feasible even to poor people. For every semester we should pay the examination fee of 1500 to attend exams. At the time of admission, 8000 rs will be taken as admission fee. Apart from this, no other fee collected. Thus 13000 per annum is enough to study in this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Those students who have parents income less than 2 lakhs can get epass scholarship provided by t.s govt which provides college fee of 10000rs and mess as 1500 per month
Campus Life
It's an environment with full greenery which makes us pleasant as we enter into it. The no of boys to girls is almost equal. While coming to sports every faculty matches are conducted for students to encourage sports activities.college also has a basketball court cricket ground and many others.
Hostel Facilities
It provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. Boys have 3 hostels namely Ganga, kinnara new and kinnara old.kinnera new is an excellent hostel with all requirements. while other two gives some troubles for students. Hostel mess facilities are good with affordable price.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has an alumni association in which alumni meetings are conducted. recently So my final conclusion is it's a good for all-round development those who are are interested. gathering event also took place.
Exam Structure
Each semester has two internal exams for 20 marks for which average will be taken into consideration. 10 marks will be awarded for assignments andI70 marks exam for external. In between 1 lab internal for 25 marks also conducted. sufficient time for students to prepare will be given making it easy to write an exam.
Admission
Every year ts eamcet will be conducted in the month of April/may.those students who secured a good rank in it has to apply for allotment by paying some fee. Then we should place options for our interested colleges after which allotment will be done by board.then we should report in the college to get admission.
Faculty
The college has both experienced professors and contract lecturers. Professors have thorough knowledge about the subject and explain us in a better way. Some of them encourage students to go towards research and towards papers .over all they are well natured and good.
